My very first motorbike was a Rutman mini bike with 8-inch wheels and a Tecumseh 3hp engine with a centrifugal clutch. My dad told me to get him a socket from the toolbox. There it was sitting in front of it. I ran inside and asked who's it was? He laughed and said happy birthday kiddo. I was 9. I am 47 today and riding a GSXR 750. I enjoy riding it all over. I plan to add an Indian Chief bobber or a Scout bobber.

Love my grom. Added intake exhaust tb cam and dhm ecu tune and oil pump mod. Upped the Rev limiter it cruises at 65 no problem then pulls up to top Rev of 72. Gas dropped to about 80 90 mpgs but hey still pretty good.

Always had love for the small bikes. I own several models both old and new, street bikes and dirt bikes. Looking forward to seeing if Honda brings the new DAX 125 to the US market. Ill be in line with plenty of others at the dealership if they do.

It'll be coming, it's a hot bike right now. The small bikes help bring people in motorcycles because they are less intimidating for new riders and they are fun mess around bikes or cheap commuter bikes for seasoned riders.

I had posted that I had a Honda CRF 50 in a vid you posted last week before I watched this one. & I love that they now make these Groms and navi's and retro trail 50's and 70's with bigger engines now. Like you are saying these minis are great for learning rear brake control and balance point much more safely & cheaply than starting on an expensive 600 supersport or a literbike. I made my 50 so cool looking as I am also a guitar playing and I got an Idea looking at the red paint so I customized it to look like Eddie Van Halen's(RIP) Red/white /black Frankenstein guitar . It helped me learn to master rear brake as I put a handbrake on it ,& do circles and they are just so much fun!! Every rider should have a mini they are a blast! Another great vid Cruza !

My first bike was a Honda trail 70 back in 1975...I have had alot of bikes over the years dirt and street. I now have the Mighty Suzuki DRZ400s and a new Honda NAVI...Both are great bikes for their purpose...Also the NAVI is Sooooo inexpensive at 1807.00 msrp.

You can do stuff to the grom to make it faster and funner with the normal upgrades when you get tired of it stock they are fun groms have abs on the new model I think and some ppl don’t want that because they want do goofy shit I’d prefer the abs cuz I’m a little rear break heavy

electric is making a new revolution. they may be a bit on the weak side as far as longevity is concerned however they are getting better and better fairly quickly. I have tried the electric and although I do enjoy the sound of my beautiful Kawasaki, there is a great feeling of being out in your surroundings with an electric. / and a bit more stealthy as well / Atgatt!!

I hit 72 mph on my 2022 grom going downhill. 65 mph easy on straights but 55mph for cruising

@@CycleCruza No engine mods yet! Only aesthetic. I'm 5,9 155lbs . Honda put a 5th gear on the Grom for 2022 and it's the best thing they could have done! So when your cruising at 55mph your only riding at 5-6k RPM in 5th gear. It revs to 10k and the bike will hit 70 stock . Also during engine break in I was getting 147mi per gallon!!! Now I've been riding it harder I'm getting around 110-120

The Benelli TNT135 is the mini bike I have. It's an Italian styled Ducati Monster Trellis looking gorgeous beast! LOVE IT! They call it a Grom Killer!

I really considered a TNT, but ended up going for the Navi for a host of reasons (mostly I'm cheap). The TNT was the only mini in stock at my local dealership so that's what I sat on to get a feel for a really little bike.

Honda Canada doesn't have all the mini motos available for us up here. We only get access to the Grom, Monkey, Navi, Ruckus, and Giorno. Grom is the best one of the lot anyway imo, though I'll admit the Trail 125 looks interesting, but we don't get that up here.

I bought a new Grom for my daughter to go along with my super Duke and MV AGusta 800rr Dragster Pirelli edition. I should of bought the KTM 200 Duke but sold out. The Grom barely able to Hold 50 mph. The Duke 200 is a real motorcycle with 6 speed and 23 horsepower. The Grom only 8 horsepower with 4 speed. Both msrp $4000.
