I remember back in 1978 as a bike mad 16 year old, my local Bike shop had a Monkey 50 in stock......God I wanted that !!!!!......Out of my price range it was on my meager £35.00 a week salary !!!!.......Had 35 bikes since, but STILL I yearn for a Monkey.......Who knows, this gorgeous 125 may be mine yet ;)

Magnifique! What an imaginative vid review, thank you. Enjoyed every moment of it, helped in no small part by the inspired choice of the Beach Boys 'Little Honda'. Haven't heard that in years and it held me spellbound with memories :-)) I'm agonizing currently about getting a blue one. They want bloody AUD$6K ride away here in Australia. I've got the money but Jeezzz, justifying it to 'She Who Must Be Appeased' looms large in front of me with a DR650 and 1200 Multistrada already in the garage. I was a child of the 70s minibike craze and, DAMN IT, I'd buy this even if I could only just drink beer and look at it in the shed.! What it represents to me is the Honda 50cc Mini Trail, The 70cc Dax and the awesome SL70 all rolled into one. I wanted all those in the 70's as a 13 year old. This little 'Monkey' is better handling, faster, even cooler looking than all of those old ones. AND it blows them away with tech. It is also . . . a Honda - very important. Jeezzz, what to do? At 58 I feel 13 again watching vids like yours and dreaming about owning a Honda, just like I dreamed all those decades ago. THANK YOU, for the vid, the music and the powerful memories.

Cute and artsy-fartsy - but what about stats? How does the Yosh pipe affect performance? Real world speeds other than a 65 guestimate downhill? How is it when a huge lorry passes you? I see a lot of thumbs up, but very little thumb-meat in the vid.
@Motoeuro5 жыл бұрын
My vids are more for general entertainment that balls-out specs, its just a bit of fun! I'm sure you can guess what it's like when a lorry passes a Monkey Bike, if you're worried about top speed, its not the bike for you. The Yosh looks and sounds great, you might get 1-2hp more, but thats not the point; it's a fun bike, so a fun vid was the order of the day. Cheers :D

Its loud!! And in the City or Canyon's the resonance would make is sound like a jet fighter! Apparently it adds 7hp to the power by removing the stock system and using the Yoshi.
