This is the first time I have seen this palette reviewed - that Oasis glow apricot shade blush looked amazing !!! It was like having soft candle glow on your face - absolutely beautiful! The finishing powder looked incredible- I too normally shy away from powders as they tend to settle in my fine lines and make my skin look even drier than it is. It would be great if they sold that finishing powder on its own 😊 I was pleasantly surprised by the bronzer too. What a great palette - thanks for sharing it with us and thanks for your detailed review 😊

This pallete was a surprise!! I thought the Oasis Glow (first impressions) wouldn't really do much, but the gentle candlelit glow was beautiful. Lit from within radiance and the finishing powder was indescribably intelligent. The blushes were all subtle but visibly buildable and multi dimensional without being glittery. Beautiful! Hi Carmel! I am behind on videos because of the Hurricane! I picked the evil eye palette with the Dragon case too! I love that combo 😊. I have a quad of hourglass blushes that I love and I have a single blush that was limited edition and I have 3 with dim light, diffused light and one other. I have not bought all 3 pallets lol. I’m just not making that much money on YT! 😊

Wao ! I was surprised how similar your views are to mine ! I have never bought an hourglass palette but this was the one that I was most interested in plus I wanted in the dragon design. It Is my birthday today and I was seriously contemplating for quite some time and I thought I may want to buy and splurge for my birthday. I am also a cream person and do not use a lot of powder. I agree that people will have more opportunities to get a palette like this, and although lovely and enjoyable, no one should put themselves in a financial hardship for makeup. They should get a gift card, a gift, a discount code, sale or find an affordable alternative if money is tight. These are gorgeous, but no one ever looks at me and says I love your blush. There are beautiful blush formulas and bronzers and finishing powders that are more affordable if this would strain someone financially 💕. Love the way you think and lookout for others!

I have found that most of hose HG finishing powders work similarly regardless of the shade. You can always buy a similar shade sold separately when you run out. I bought one of these palettes a few years ago, and even though I love HG powders (even on my very dry, mature skin), I haven’t used the palette much. I don’t like a glowy bronzer on my skin. It makes it look somehow leathery which is not a look I enjoy. I though everything you tried looked absolutely lovely on you!

Not everyone likes the finishing powders but i really love them! I have a lot of old acne scarring annd visible pores and i find it to be really blurring. I don’t generally like powders but I find I cant overdo the hourglass finishing powders. Im 38 so appreciate some lighting and powder wizardry!

PS you might like “diffused light” or “Dim light” think soft light looks to be close to both those two (I have a large “dim light” after trying it in the hourglass palette I bought about 4 Years ago, but I find I can get away with quite a few of the shades.I pretty much put it all over my face, it can do no wrong in my book!!

Actually, dim light would be better for you and your skin tone and closer to soft light. Diffused is a lot lighter (I have both in my older palette and mix them together or use one or the other but I’m fairer than you).

@@CarmelNicoleBeauty they are probably the best powder products I have ever tried, in terms of not looking like powder. I like RMS blushes too (they look quite a lot like cream blushes in their finish), but hourglass do a bit of everything and are so blurring!

I regretted not getting the Jellyfish palette because I loved the jellyfish packaging and the shades were more lighter and cool-toned.

Hi . Iv got the triple box which was a present. Wasn’t shore what to do with it . All videos have a massive rectangle brush which your surposed to brush all three and pop on face but Iv been using them separately like your . Like u no powder normally but love love the setting powder.
