I have experienced that as well then my wife 6 years after we bought the house went kind of crazy. 3 months later wanted to come home I said no sold the house a year after that. The extra shop will be a big help. Just stay grounded don't forger what got you there hard work and determination and building a fan base. We are excited for you don't get to relaxed.

Hey Randy, that white device above the outside TV is a wireless network access point (range extender) , so you can use your internet outside by the pool for the TV and smart devices. They will give you wireless coverage all over the house (and yard) without having dead spots.

Very nice. MTV Cribs does KZbin! The gardens are Japanese-inspired and will be lovely come summertime though upkeep will be a huge amount of work. No height for a lift in that shop, but if it's yours (rather than rented) the next best thing could be to dig an inspection pit. The game room definitely needs a home bar / beer fridge, pool table, air hockey and a couple arcade machines! Agreed that you don't need a separate media room - kit the living room out with a top-notch AV system and some power recliners instead.

Before judging our man Randy, I encourage all to go back and watch some of Randy's early posts. This guy has been thru the ringer at times but continues to try and venture down the right path and IMO is starting to see the payback. The pain on his face when he speaks about his family and his son and "Baby Mama" dramas is obvious. But thru it he kept pushing and his story should act as an inspirational tale. Randy a book documenting your journey could be an invaluable story for lots of folks who just need to see "it can happen to me". Man Crush, not really but congrats to you.

Randy you need to sort out the filter system on the koi pond ASAP now you are feeding them. The water in the pond will be a sewer otherwise if not already as you found one dead.. The water should be crystal clear & free from ammonia & nitrate that the koi produce in their waste as it kills them. Suggest you get a pond expert in to repair the filter system, do a partial water change & add the correct amount of bacteria to deal with the fish waste so no more die. As the fish produce waste 24 / 7 the pump & filter needs to run 24 / 7 , also you need a UV filter running to stop algae turning the water green. I was once told "" you have to be a waterkeeper before you can become a fishkeeper "", True advice, I have kept gold fish & koi for over 60 years, I also have a nice pond I built with 45 koi in it, some are 30 years old, I got them when I built the pond 30 years ago as tiny fry, now over 2 feet long !! Suggest you watch You Tube video's posted by James the koi whisperer to learn how to look after your new pond, Please get expert help with your pond water filtration urgently if you wish to keep those koi in good health, imagine using your toilet for 3 month's without flushing it, that's what your koi are living in. Also over feeding kills fish as does starving them so feed little & often !! You might need an air pump to get oxygen in to the water, the pond experts will advise you. Happy fish keeping !!! It's so relaxing sat watching them !!

Great time to buy a house with the low interest rates right now. If you want to replace the carpet, check out the discounted carpet section at Budget Floor Store on Reno and Portland. I replaced my "builder grade" carpet a few years ago with high end carpet for an amazing price and it still looks great. They have clearanced/discounted carpet in their warehouse area and you can find some pretty sweet deals sometimes.

Having kept a Koi pond for many years, I can tell you that you shouldn’t keep feeding them once the temp drops. I was surprised to see them come up and eat at all. Mine just float around until spring almost like hibernation.

Dude that house is insane !!! Make that your full time place . Koi pond once all cleaned up is a very good stress reliever. Once they get used to you they’ll come right up to you for feeding time.
