TBF he didnt really play that well, in most cases of identical setup, the enemy wouldnt have all sat broadside, he wouldnt have got that much damage, and he would have been wrecked for pushing up so far on his own against superior numbers.

Jean bart, jaujard, cunningham and scharnhorst is also a great setup to have. Best shot i had so far with it is deleting a full health Yammy wit one salvo at around 15 km, the shells looked like one big white blob ... It felt sooo good 🤭

1:47 true, I have Iowa too for more than a year and I like to push hard after 5 minutes, cause you're more tanky than, let's say, every tier 7 battleship except stalin's ones and germans, then you also have the best penetration of the game thanks to those lovely super heavy shells of 1225kg, finally in a brawl with drives , you have waterline citadel, very hard to find for every potato/playerbase, the only downsides are, the lenght, the superstructures and that real Iowa speed is 33 knots, so don't know why we have 30 :( EDIT:best penetration of the game for tier 7 of course

That build on Robert Jujard on the French BBs is also very deadly, controls the buck shot you get at range. Awesome game by the way Spartan always a pleasure watching your vids

You got Hyde? He's the best commander for GK in my opinion and not because of the godly secondary build but cause of the health pool and extra heals when fully maxed out.

I have the dispersion build also but im using the russian commander inspiration with reduced ricochet angles and makes a really big difference. Alot of those bounces go away

Been using that build for some time Spartan. I saw someone else I follow mention the new commander and I was able to get it for free. So I switched. Totally worth it

He had a good suggestion for that build. I switched out Lee with Sims and had Cunningham as 'inspiration'. Don't have the Azur Lane Scharnhorst captain though. I put it through the paces and noticed I did have tighter groups when shooting. I tried this on my Alabama and it worked even better. Myself and an Iowa just literally shredded an Amagi another Iowa. This made me look at my commanders. Sims has better long range while Lee is better for brawling with "Running with Scissors". Have yet to get Sims to legendary which should produce some much more better results

You should try a full dispersion build on Lenin, it's disgustingly effective and I love it. It is also surprisingly maneuverable.

Any build like this for the Bismarck I love the ship but hate it at the same time with dispersion and the odd occasion the secondaries don't kick in even though it's 3Km within its max range whilst running the new build you made which is amazing when it works lol

Spartan great videos.. I believe the bulbous bow and the Atlantic Bow (For handling Higher sea states) are what you meant to say. The Speed Bow is not a design feature I am aware of.. Maybe you have been to more ship museums than I. You might know more. I know the Bismarck Had a new bow put on to help her handle the waves.?? Let me know god bless.

I agree she's a sexy ship, but I'm not sure what you going to do if an when they bring the USS Georgia into the game 😆 6x457mm guns, French speed boost, mass.'s heal, and making the Iowa beyond great again 😁 Now as for you build I've been using that for a bit an its really nice! However I also like using sims with the French captain that increases ap pen, and the soviet captain that improves bounce angles an also works well at range an when ships slightly angle.

To be fair having a commander at 14-1 is good enough. You only need 1 commendation & 1 insignia for that. Promotion orders are earned easily enough from those weekly missions.

@@Longerbow that's true if you have to level only one commander, but if you're like me that tries to level up multiple commanders at the same time, it's so painful the POs' grind, you will find it out sooner or later, trust me

Your list of favorite top tier battleships seems to be in flux. Yamamoto, iowa, Massachusetts?. You could do a top 3 per tier or a top 10 per catagory ie battleships cruisers and destroyers. For battleships mine is Vanguard Bismark Massachusetts Gasgone Lennin Nelson King george v Sharnhorst Hood Mutsu

Try Bismark with scharnhorst commander , Cunningham inspiration and hipper(secondary commander) ;) i love my Bismark with almost 12km secondary, dispersion build and 17km range
