this Love Poem song is connected to many things/ context, I'll explain just this one thing : --> this is from iu, a "national singer" of S.Korea, means her songs are already eternal and very well known ... so that "I'll be there ...." is really a thing. :') yes, she always be there to console us, to heal us through her songs ... Many people believe that IU wrote these songs in memory of her friends Jonghyun ( Shinee)2017 and Sulli ( FX )2019 and during her LOVE POEM concert performance of Dear Name, she found out her other close friend Goo Hara ( Kara )2019 had passed away. IU's fans helped her get through the concert after getting the sad news. There is a video of her performing Dear Name after getting the news of Goo Hara.

It is addressed to all the past k-pop idols that have taken their own lives ... in clueding that eight. 2 idols have always stuck out which are SULLI of FX and GOO HARA of KARA they were best of friends for many many years before getting the fame ... SULLI was just 17 years old on OCT 14 2019 GOO HARA was age 29 passed one month later on NOV 24TH 2019. It was that last of IU'S LOVE POME TOUR mid way through the show backstage is when she had gotten the tragic news. she made a statement during the song DEAR she almost lost it singing that song and from the show hall IU rushed out to go be by her friend side ... the she did the song EIGHT with BTS that is also about the death of SULLY...

It's just her voice accompanied by the piano from Jung jaeil (who scored the Academy Award Best film Parasite and Broker) and interspersed with the cello. IU said that was her best vocal performance. Make sure to check out the live performance. It's a remake song which she had 2 albums of remake old Korean songs called Flower Bookmark 1 & 2. She's so amazing rearranging the old songs into her own style❤

You should listen to the song "YOU&I", this song has a sequel called "Above the time", both songs have a difference of 9 or 10 years, giving a continuation to the story told in YOU&I, and even the same cast from 9 or 10 years ago that worked in the MV. IU as always being the best in her art 💕.
