New knee mill in the shop, Jet JVM-836

I've finally finished re-building a 3/4 size Bridgeport clone made by Jet and Grizzley. It lacks some of the features of a full size machine however for the most part it wont't be a problem. It replaces my trusty RF45 which was a great mahine that I owned since new. I've done some hand scraping of the cast iron surfaces both in the X,Y and Z.

I picked up the model below it 4 years ago, it was in a San Francisco garage, owner had passed and never used it, it was a 1996 model, yes brand new never used, 2500.00, it cat on CL for a year at 3500.00 offered 2500 and said if you ever decide to drop the price I’ll take it.
