Thanks, gentlemen. The Boker Atlas with the scissors is a compelling competitor to Victorinox SAKs. Good bit of blade, better steel, the same large scissors as their larger tech tools, pocket clip, and super slim. And the price is right too!

So many 3.5 D2 liner lock choices out there! Unfortunately that category for me is well rounded out and I’ve become a hard sell. Waiting for the new SOG fixed blades to release, I have too many fixed also but hey, I’m still watching!!!

Lots of good stuff on the table today! Re. the Becker BK40 - while D2 is a nice steel it's the handle that's caught my eye. The original handle scales had a sheen that (to me) really made them look cheap so I didn't look further. However, the grey you've chosen (to me) has a more matt finish and now I'm interested. The Becker is designed to be a hard working camp/field/utility and with D2 becomes good value. Also, Acta Non Verba have really hit the market with great designs - definitely on the list. Thanks heaps.

That ANV M73 Kontos looks really cool, I think ANV makes good knives. I have an ANV M311 Spelter and it has one of the most comfortable handles ever, kydex sheath is pretty good also.

Love that Czech tank knife. It is something to behold. It would make a fine addition to my war knife collection. Thanks for showing it David. How about supplying us with more Czech brands. I am a fan of their knives, especially there bush crafting and their tribal knives based on European history. They have extremely interesting things. Thanks again, God bless you and your crew !

@@FancyPrimate I've been saying that in my Knifecenter comments to, my thought is that keeping it D2 and g10 and just adding the new lock will help keep costs down the first year or so and then if they sell well enough maybe Knifecenter could request an upgraded blade steel and use that as a pilot to roll out a new steel to the lineup. I know of a custom manufacturer that is offering m390 blades for the rat so the market is out there, just imagine this: micarta scales, crossbar lock, and maybe s30v for 75$. How great would that be? I'm telling you guys it'd fly off the shelves even in the best of times

DAC I took your advice about the Gerber Prodigy and got one. I then found a Strongarm for a great price from what I was told a great dealer. After getting the Strongarm I was watching KZbin videos about the Strongarm (about six) and how good a knife it is. I was pretty happy about getting one for a great price. Then a video popped up on how to tell if your Strongarm is a fake. I watched the video 5-6 times paused it went and got my brand new Strongarm. Everything in the video showed me I bought a fake. I contacted the seller he even said that it was a fake and what could I do about. He gave me back $40 and I got to keep the fake one. Needless to say I will be ordering one from the Knife Center. I just wanted to let people know that there is no good cheap deal and only use a good dealer.

There are a lot of fake Gerber Strongarms, so always buy from a reputable dealer. Amazon is not a reputable dealer, as anyone can claim to be EX company, also they mix stock together so fakes get mixed in with genuine products

Those Boker Atlas knives are nice. Boker Plus has really stepped their game up. Its awesome to see such high value options coming out of that line. That ANV Tank knife is really badass. Thats a brand that popped up out of nowhere and really grabbed some attention. Go Czech Republic. I've always appreciated the CJRB Maileah for being a pleasant looking and capable little design, but it was never one that I needed to own...the XL version in that green and brass colorway for that price...YES! instant buy. I'm pretty impressed with these first efforts from Swaggs.

I'd like to see the BK40 with a better handle material besides shiny smooth plastic. $50 is a lot for a knife with a shiny plastic handle. I also haven't been able to activate the two front flipper folding knives I own with my average female sized hand/fingers, unless I pull the blade out directly, so its a 'pass' to the CJRB Swaggs Maileah.

There is no damned way microtech can justify $1000 for that knife. They've got to where they are just outrageous on their pricing. Don't matter what kinda steel they use its just not justifiable.
