Kansept did the Divo Lush and it's in s90v. I have a Lush and have already sharpened it. Kinife is killer but came with a horrible factory edge. I have no way to test it, but by sharpening, it feels like a good heat treat

@erokjenkins I used the worksharp precision pro. Set the angle finder on 17 degrees. Started with the 320, then 600, then 800, then ceramic, and finished with strop. Took me around 45 minutes to do. The only other knife that has taken longer is my para 3 in maxamet. Did the exact same process as on the Lush, and it took close to an hour. On both of them, I did take my time for the simple fact of how much money the knives were, so someone else might get a faster result.

$125 for that Prism is too much, even with the Ti. It needs a higher blade steel to come close to that price for me

Really like how the prism looks! Definitely agree about the grind though, would much prefer it to be a lot slicier, looks like a bit of a missed opportunity.

It's plenty slicy after like a week plus of owning and using, but I think a more hallow grind would have been wicked but it still gets the job done

This is definatly KC's best design to date, nice flow to it along with a good looking inlay. The micro milling can really make a difference on how a knife feels when using it along with the contouring as well. Like the usage of S90V over M390 as most companies do a good job with it as far as i have seen. Dig the blade shape as well and the action looks on point. The Kubey looks intersting, but for me it would not get a ton of use as im rarely in a situation where a CEO style knife is wanted not to mention how thick it is. Can see many liking it though for those looking for a more minimal carry. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

Noooo the Kubey. they needed to make that in a thin clip point or wharnie not a thick tanto 😂 the CEO style knife is more for cutting steaks than stabbing or harder use stuff. So so close with the Ti and the button lock and thumb studs instead of flipper to keep the profile slim fancy and fidgety but I wish it had what it would take for me to buy.

I real am excited for the new Tempest knife, looks awesome! But I’m confused. KC is a knife reviewer as well and one of the nitpicks he usually has is T6s on knives. How is it that a knife he designed ended up with T6’s. I don’t understand why most companies use them to begin with but how KC’s knife ended up with them 🤷🤷🤷

I remember lefty. EDC was showing a couple of his prototypes for Devo knives and one of the OEM manufacturers like refused to use them, even though they asked for them. I can’t remember the reason why, but it seemed trivial. It may have been, that in order to keep costs down or under a certain price-point, that may have been a compromise he had to make.

Why does nobody make a Swiss army type of knife that has a really thick blade that is kind of like a chisel as well as a blade that is really Slicey that you could cut fruit or something with so that you could use the chisel blade when you need to scrape Gum off of a window or something like that ? I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like that. So that you’ve got the best of both worlds on one knife. Obviously, there are Swiss Army knife type knives that have different types of blades but I don’t think I’ve ever seen one that has a really crazy stout blade on it as well as a Slicey blade, it would just be nice to have every type of blade you could possibly need attached to the same handle and then throw some other crap on there such as scissors, etc.
