Thank you for showing us how to make these wonderful dishes and also including what we need in an Amazon link! I live in a small town and it's an hour drive to our H-mart. Cons of living in the South :( My husband is Korean and our son and daughter are half Korean and I've been wanting to include way more Korean dishes into our lives. My husband and mother-in-law have been so proud of me since I started watching your videos and recreating them. Thank you so much!!!

That makgoli story totally brought me back to the country side in korea in the late 70s for me. Thank you so much for conjuring up that memory for me. I totally had forgotten. I too had to fetch makgoli for my grandmother time to time - but my uncle eventually intervened and said I shouldn't be exposed to alcohol like that at 6 years old.

I made some today following your recipe and tips and tricks. It came out awesome, nice and crispy and not soggy! Thank you so much for sharing. I have tried other recipes and found the batter too heavy. I really enjoy your videos and glad I found you.

Helen, my mouth always waters with your recipes. I forgot to say, that pork recipe had me almost bumping into my monitor! My local grocer has japanese tempura mix. Is that good to use in this pancake recipe?
@zetnnik Жыл бұрын
Thank you for the many helpful tips and showing us how to properly form the pancake. One thing that bugged me… the slowed down parts.
@annchee1329 Жыл бұрын
Does the Tempura powder adds to the crispness of the batter? I am anxious to try out this recioe! I haven’t been able to achieve the crispiness of my Korean pancakes, as think I added too much batter! I love watching all your vids, as love Korean foods.

Unfortunately there is no Korean market near my house. I think the batter should be able to make from scratch at home otherwise this recipe is impossible to make because some ingredients are Korean premixed and can only be bought at Korean grocery markets.
