Very nice Rabanne foundation! I really enjoy their eyeshadows. And...I am sitting here getting ready, staring at the Meroda Changing Foundation on my skin. I actually can't stop staring because it is so strangely good?! I don't get it! But what a smoothing, light look. I'm really liking it. Thanks for everything you do!

I'm in love with the taupe shade second from left in the bottom row! The palate is gorge, but a bit too warm for me. I'm awaiting the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes Moonlight palette with bated breath (cool tone army is going to love it I think)

@A-so5ft I'm about to buy the Lawless palette just for that taupe shade alone😂. I actually went back to Sephora last week to look at it again. The brown/gold shades look much better to me the second time. It's like a smaller version of the ND I Need a Gold, but with that gorgeous taupe shade. The packaging is super travel friendly. I also find the smaller size easier to use that a huge palette. I think this one is a real winner & plan to buy👍

I think the foundation is really pretty on you. I’m passing on the Lawless palette; not my favorite formula and too warm. But That Makeup by Mario Etherial Eyeshadow palette is coming home with me. I also JUST saw that Patrick Ta is releasing some Topper duos!

Good day, Rebecca, and happy Sunday. Two small pallets, both are 9 pan pallets, I have my eye on to purchase come Friday (pay day!) are from ABH. One is slightly warm leaning nude shades and one cool colored pink/plum/blue which are both only $29. IMO her as well as Fenty are both lower priced high quality brands I trust. Lawless eyeshadows IMO are one of the best formulas out there! The mini ones, I find they are a must have in my collection. When i worked in beauty retail, it was one of my first choices for any looking for a super easy to work with formula, long lasting with noticeable performance, and easily wearable! Super for beginners, and super for advanced artists. I will keep Lawless mini palette (the black cover one) in my kit for as long as it is produced. It is super, and my past clients agree - which I was super happy with! If the formula in the big ones are the same, I would be down for the new one!

I got the Meroda color adapting foundation on your reccomendation last week. I was amazed at how well it matched my skin tone. Coverage is medium and feels light and nice on skin. Also lasted really well. I'm hooked.

That Lawless palette has aluminum powder in it (which always irritates my eyes and which EWG gives 10/10 in terms of being problematic). i don't understand how companies can put aluminum powder or synthetic fragrance in products but claim to be "clean." i don't mind so much that the Rabanne has fragrance because they are not claiming to be 'clean.'

Right! Talc free but has aluminum powder? This reminds me of sugar-free products for diabetics that make up for it by putting in a ton of starch that just turns to sugar in the body

Rebecca, I would pronounce Rabanne as you do (& I believe as it is pronounced in U.K. TV adverts) Apparently here in the U.K. we have been mispronouncing the car manufacturer Hyundai. However, as someone pointed out we were pronouncing Hyundai as their TV adverts & they, Hyundai have now changed (or corrected) the pronunciation on their recent TV adverts. It’s their brand so we/I will be guided by them. However, what I will say is, I don’t care about exact/correct pronunciation, for me it’s about communication & getting the message across/understood. If I say I am going to I kea people know where I am going & don’t usually feel the need to say that in Sweden it is pronounced E kea. Grammar zealots are another pain in the butt! Phew, I think I really needed to get that off my chest 😮‍💨 🤣💕
