Of all of the You tube golf related videos I have watched over the past decade, you guys are the only ones to describe so brilliantly what "forgiveness" really is for every golfer based on angles of attack. Great work!

Recently built a set of the 623s and they are solid. Currently in a battle with my Mizuno JPX 919 Tours for my 2019 bag. The length of the head (heel to toe) really makes them a more friendly blade. The heads were spot on spec. Big OEM heads are all over the place (especially weight). Customer service is the best in the biz. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

I game the 1031s. Eric did a great job diagnosing my game and setting up a solid shaft pairing. First few rounds I was extremely accurate with them, but my swing has leaked a little oil recently. The offset doesn’t really bother me, but know it’s not for everyone. My favorite aspects of the club are the turf interaction and of course the feel. Thanks for doing the vid, I was hoping to see your thoughts on them.

Pure!! Just did a second session in the burly lab and winning was the 902s with N.S. Pro. 137 ball speed Matt! And wasn’t jumping on them either ;). That shaft was a sleeper also. Need to get them in Matt’s hands.

Just as I've always said when the irons are set to the same loft then distance and peak hight are very close especially when the club speed is nearer to the average mid handicapper levels. I would love to see Alan do this same test with the Mizuno full jpx range 7rons set at 34° ....

using 6 iron with each, Allen's attack angle is shallow and plays a bit of a draw so doesn't generate a bunch of spin

I’m interested In finding a great quality iron this upcoming fall. I don’t want the big box stores. My question is New Level, Honma, and Miura. I’m looking for something a little more forgiving, that feels great, that hits the ball a little longer then other players irons. Would you recommend these or Honma or Miura?

Hi Ian, great video, nice looking clubs now that your testing new golf company's, can you test the Sterling single length irons to see how good these clubs are compared to standard length clubs, you and Tom wishon are probably the most knowledgeable club fitters on the planet.i enjoy how you explain how a club and shaft work during the swing and the shot results, why the ball went high or low and right or left, its amazing , Thanks for TXG videos, and your professionalism to teach and explain your abilities to fit golfers is off the chart, you need to open up a TXG fitting in Pennsylvania, Happy New year's

Hi, do you think it makes sense to PURE irons? Either new irons for like $20/iron or retrofit existing irons for $50/iron. Some fitters see it as useful while other fitters and OEMs like Titleist do not recommend it. Thank you.

WOW. The CNC work on the 623 look amazing. I would really love to see Allen hit Mizuno JPX919. The data from Matt is a little too much in term of club speed. Great video but by the way, yellow Fujikura shafts in the background is a bad color distraction especially when they are in the middle.

Hi Ian, is it true that the more backspin a ball would have, keeping side spins carry distances the same, the less deviations and more stable the ball would be?
@clubchampionmedia6 жыл бұрын
Yes more backspin adds stability, so the spin axis tilt is less severe
@nasrullah36986 жыл бұрын
@@clubchampionmedia Been trying to convince a fellow youtuber on how Champ, or anyone for that matter but Champ due to his insane ball speeds and relatively high ball spin (2.8k), shouldn't go for lower spin, because this would result to less driving accuracy. Keep up with good work on your youtube channel btw! Been watching a whole ton of them. Appreciate the amount of research you guys make on golf. Learned a lot.
@Cornwall18886 жыл бұрын
Gnash champ is looking for accuracy, he already has enough distance 💪
@nasrullah36986 жыл бұрын
Cornwall1888 yeah definitely 💪🏻 what that guy is saying is that back spin, keeping side spins equal, does not affect dispersion even thought carry would be the same.

Eric's wedges are not custom. Each loft only has one bounce. Everything I asked was a "nope", "nope", "nope". Raw finish? Nope. Demo's with longer than +0.5? Nope. Can you get different bounces on the specified lofts? Nope.

They look descent. I'm not sure how newer companies plan on making a big splash trying to sell their products against what's already on the market with a higher price range, especially with standard or slightly less than substandard results. They simply need to give an incentive to want to try their clubs, lower cost would be the only way to achieve that in my opinion.

Look nice and obviously perform but I feel they might struggle to make an impact. Everything they do is available from a mainstream brand at similar or less cost. Some might see it as a risk and some want to have the big names in their bag. I don't think they're really different enough to make people sit up and take notice. Happy to be proved wrong though👍

I understand you like to set the lofts the same but doesn't that throw off what the manufacturer actually wants for those irons. I feel like a review where you see distance/peak height differences based on the lofts the manufacturer sets helps. Then if you are looking for distances you know what to expect. I understand you guys want to fit you and set lofts but some do not have that available to them.
