Thanks for the feedback! I'm a vintage kinda guy I guess. Plus heck, that bike does look sort of vintage. I almost did the logo using my Suzuki Bandit. @KARMAkazeMoto5 жыл бұрын
Great! No sound. Just the slightly animated scarf and "wind." My channel actually got started on Japanese bikes like my Suzuki Bandit which we'll be seeing more of soon. Later with the Himalayan my theme didn't work so flawlessly except for the fact that the concept of karma does come from India. Lucky how that worked out! 😀 There will probably be times where I don't include the rising Sun. But for now the logo really encompasses many things and of course the bike and rider takes center stage. So those are pretty much my thoughts. 🤓

@@KARMAkazeMoto A cabin, too? I should have revisited Web Design/Support/Marketing years ago...before The Man got to me in IT Operations, lol. I stumbled upon a white 2019 Himmie today while up the Interstate several miles with my wife at a function. It was larger than I had been imagining in the videos of it. Lots of presence. I may be going over to Tulsa weekend after this to the Enfield dealership there because the Enfield corporate Semi will be there with lots of goodies to ride and such, woohoo! I only have a couple of mental excursions to work out...1) my current 1200LT is my first bike with Cruise after 35 years, lol...and XM and many other goodies, not to mention once you get it rolling it handles like a Ninja...or Bandit :)...but my right knee is not liking the 830+ pounds of machine like it used to so...2) There are some sweet 2007 vintage F650GS Dakars out there for about the same price or less than the Himmie and they are set up to go offroad nicely, too...and I try not to be a BMW snob but I really like BMWs :)...I dunno, the knee may win the argument but these decisions keep branching down to more complicated logic gates with no easily recognized single output, snort :). My wingman does not love offroad as much as me, mostly because I did it when young so standing up on a bike still needs to be learned, OTOH I don't ride much by myself so the onroad aspect needs some mapping out. But he also thinks if we throw two lighter bikes on the trailer and GO someplace THEN ride it will still be fun, we just won't have to recuperate from those trips to get there like you did when you got the bike. Too many words, sorry! I must now watch an episode of Firefly to unwind, lol.

@@RC-uw9uy Hey, I think it's great that you're putting all this thought into your decision. It's important to think things through. Smart! Everyone I show the Himalayan to has the same reaction as you. They always realize it's a lot bigger than they thought. I did the same thing at the dealership when I went to pick it up. It's a real bike. Not a moped, not dirt bike, not your dad's old enduro. It's a significant bulk of a machine for the price. Enjoy your show!
@KARMAkazeMoto5 жыл бұрын
Oh, and the cabin has all been done on the cheap. The land is cheap and easy to buy from the state, and the cabin materials haven't really cost that much, especially spread over 10 years. Yeah, I'm building this thing at a snail's pace. But what can I say, there's no road access or services, and I'm building it by myself so there's no opportunity to rush, that's for sure.

Hi What is the meaning of your logo Karmakaze Please reply
@KARMAkazeMoto4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say there is a specific meaning that I want to convey. I'll just explain this... 1. My channel started with me working on Japanese bikes, like my Suzuki Bandit 12 or a little custom GN125. I also have a Honda CB360 in the works. So the focus was old Japanese bikes. 2. During World War II, there were Japanese fighter pilots that would dive their planes into the enemy, committing suicide in the process. Quite reckless! They were called kamikaze pilots. I have changed KAMI into KARMA, and I've been told by an Asian person that the part of the word, KAZE, means WIND. 3. You probably already know the meaning of KARMA. Of course, people can have or spread good karma or bad karma, but I prefer to by positive, enjoy life, and spread good karma. I think you'll find all my videos and even my comments to be overwhelmingly positive. So there are some things to think about. I hope you appreciate it. 😊

Yo, Justin, going to test ride a Himalayan in the morning, the Enfield tour Truck will be at the Tulsa dealership with lots of bikes and goodies. Any last words of advice? :). synergymotorworks.com/index.html UPDATE: Well I rode it for about 20 minutes! Nice ride :). I leaned it over to see how it felt compared to mine and nearly flipped it upside down when I brought it back up lol. My knee was begging me to get it then and there :). Rides solid but it took awhile to get my head around the inertial effects of a 21" pirelli mt60 compared to 17" Pilot Road GTs! Seems very slow to respond but just a mind game so not a real negative since I hopefully wont be trying to make it do BMW shenanigans. I met another guy who knows your channel lol and we agree you have been a ton of perspective help, salute! I will setup some pics and to you :). Now for the logistics leading up to the decision. Next stop BMW 310 GS :)
