The think about the Living Tribunal is that he has the power to “judge” but not necessarily the power to “act”. He seems bound by certain rules of engagement and cannot or will not act on his own. He does police the multiverse but seams to act only when someone “brings a case”. This allows otherwise less powerful beings to gain an advantage.

@@Zaacdrums I know right! Generally I trust all of Rob's videos. For instance his earlier cosmic hierarcy series (the one he had made a few years back) was spot on. But this time (and I hate to say this) his list is completely inaccurate. At 1:35 Rob dismissed the fact as if its irrelevant but later on he places the Black Winter above the LT just cause he can destroy universes. I mean the LT operates at a scale much higher than almost everyone mentioned in this list and yet he is ranked so low. In fact I have got a horrible feeling that if Rob was to now list the 20 most powerful beings in DC he would list you, O mighty Lucifer, at number 16 or 17!

Another phenomenal video, Rob. However, this is a clear display of how broken the Marvel Universe has become. Every conclusion you draw makes perfect sense. However, it's clear that Marvel has utilized these cosmic beings for power leveling far too often when you legitimately have beings like the Living Tribunal being placed under Nightmare. They need to fix this.

I love how you put these videos together, ranking them. Because at some point you have to stop and say, okay for one individual that is considered op there is enhancements in this area. And for a different peak level OP character they have maximum enhancements in a few areas giving them a specific power due to a few different powers and they're accumulative op abilities in said powers. I love that only maybe a handful of characters reach what I call 'Peak level OP' which is when you think about it, maximum power or op in said characters powers. The Phantom Stranger entered the Marvel universe and knew everything about everything but I'm assuming he isn't qualified since he is DC even though he was in Marvel at a point. He's also basically behind Lucifer then The Presence being the third most powerful DC character. Curious to know though how he'd make the list given a crossover. I think God King Doom deserves more credit but not rank, no one else could wield that much Beyonder power and survived. Little biased though

With the beyonders only being #11, they're the most powerful beings I know of in Marvel (besides TOAA/TBOA). I do think Rob is going to surprise us by not placing TOAA as #1. Since Rob isn't including one-offs, HOTU Thanos isn't eligible. Based on the channeling Beyonders powers though, I think he'll place Molecule Man Owen Reece as either #10 (next in the list), or anywhere in the list in the next video. I think Protege should be on this list as it wasn't shown he had an upper limit to his power-copying abilities. The situation with Scathan the Approver was PIS. I think the next video will include Knull though, based on the "named himself after the living embodiment of death" remark at the end.

kind of sad we only got the black winter for one story arc, i really liked the concept. seemed like the kind of thing they could turn into a more openly malevolent phoenix force type concept. a recurring antagonist of thor that would always be trying to both return to its former glory and get back of thor for destroying it.

The way the Black Winter died was ridiculous and made no sense. My theory his sole purpose at that point was to collect that particular Galactus. Once that was done, so was his purpose and he went back to the outer void to merge back to what is the full and true form, which is the Black Winter is only a part of OBLIVION.

When the DC and Marvel crossover occurred, it was the Spectre and the Living Tribunal who were the representatives of each Multiverse to try and stop the 2 Brothers. When all the Cosmic entities were confronting Thanos over the Infinity Gauntlet, they turned to the Living Tribunal because he was the only one with the power to stop him. When the other Cosmic Entities are defeated by Thanos, it was the Living Tribunal in the final showdown with Adam Warlock controlling the Gauntlet. The only reason he was defeated by the beyonders was because of plot armor. Are you seriously going to tell me Dr. Doom defeated the Beyonders by them not being able to travel back in time and that the Living Tribunal couldn't use time against them. And with the Beyonders storyline, It was the Living Tribunal who was defeated last and thats when Hank Pym knew they were seriously screwed.To have the power to balance the entire multiverse is reality altering power that is absolute.
