Nice review bro. I've driven a ZS in Italy as a rental and it was a verry nice experience. When I found out how cheap that is I was shocked for all the features it packs like the safety ones, thepanoramic sunroof, decent boot capacity. For me, the value is insane. As for the HS, yeah, I love it. More expensive, but more of everything as well. It sits in pole for our next car.

I have Peugeot 3008 gt premium 2022 plug in hibrid 26k miles, 4 wheel drive 3000 BHP. Love this car but very expensive to run road tax £600 car over 40k. Warranty runs out Feb 2025. Could go down the route of buying a warranty, subscription to many features. Need 4 new tyres 2nd set lasts about 12k. Just got a MG ZS ev very cheap from a main dealership 4 years old 28k in mint conduction. 8k price, bargain. It is what it is. It gteat for a second car, wouldn't want it as my daily driver. How ever this new MG HS look stunning and pug in hibrid dose up to 75 miles on a good day. Test drive soon.

I currently own a 2023 MG HS Trophy, and while I’m generally pleased with it, there are a few drawbacks I've noticed compared to the previous model: The older model featured real exhaust tailpipes that looked fantastic; I’m not sure why they decided to remove them. I do appreciate the larger boot, as the previous model’s was quite small. The outgoing model had storage area and cup holders in the rear center console, however this one only has cup holders. They also eliminated the cool box from the center console, which is a disappointing change. Aside from these points, everything else is perfect.

Do you know if the Hybrid+ from MG3 will be any stronger when implemented in the HS? I'm afraid that in such a big car, when the battery runs dry, the ~100 KM of petrol power will just not be enough to comfortably cruise on a highway. It'd be perfrect if they implemented the Hybrid+ system with a turbo, which would make the petrol engine around 140-150 KM. That would definitely work in the HS.

Tethered connection gives you better quality. MG is ready to switch if demand, demands. Sunroof weighs a lot more. Poorer fuel economy and water leaks are a headache.

No, just a PHEV version, followed by a Hybrid+ model in early 2025. However, MG does have a new ZS EV replacement due soon, as well as a larger EV SUV (Marvel-R perhaps) due in 2025 too.

1.5Petrol dct version is a 50mph car as mpg is47mpg drive at 70mph and it’s 30mpg gear box is crap aswell when at junctions it selects wrong and when u accelerate it struggles to move leaving you hanging
