New Modular Landcape

Trying to get some new tones inspired by brass, wooden, and steel drum instrument sounds. High part is Twin Peak filter being pinged by Varigate 8+ going into Clouds resonator mode. Clouds going stereo out to Morphagene which is sending about a 60/40 blend of source/processed to my mixer. Middle percussive part is DPO getting a sequence from O_C turing mahcine triggered by Varigate 8+ with another gate channel going to the DPO strike. Bass is Tides being modulated by Frames with a sine LFO from Pam's new workout in the 1v/o (Tides is quantizing). There is some randomization coming from Pam as well giving the patch a self playing vibe. Going to write down the more detailed patch notes later.

Thanks! Actually your videos inspired me to get some portable speakers and power so I can take little field trips of my own and play outside : ) I love Morphagene so much. It's really so beautiful and smooth sounding. Also very immediately musical, which I wasn't expecting. I think it would be a great addition to any system, really. Lovely, i want to make more videos , trying to get my head around sync and stuff.. i just record on a portble recorder and sync it later with video in protools.. any recommendation? Love to see more close ups off your case !

This, and most of my videos are recorded with an iPhone for the visual, and I am simultaneously recording audio into my interface. I usually sync up by fading it in at the beginning and then just matching the audio (sometimes roughly) in Final Cut. I don't really have a fancy or professional technique for that, and sometimes it takes me a couple minutes to find where it is synced up... but it works for me ok!
