For some reason, I can't find the download using the link Weaver provided in the description. Any help? EDIT - I found it but no support for older macOS?! I and many of my friends would purchase this right now but it won't run on our systems! Many professionals stay behind an OS or 2 to ensure no issues with our hardware/software. If you can make it work on Ventura I'd gladly buy it as would a few of my colleagues!

the legality of what people sample is the responsibility of the person doing the sampling not the person making the plug-in. if people wanna illegally sample they’ll do it anyway and there’s an insane amount of people sampling that don’t try and clear it because it’s a hobby or they aren’t selling their music. your points kind of a non starter
@3DaveO3 ай бұрын
@@dxzzydxm5518 Yeah, but copyright laws can be pretty hard to understand, 95 years for published music or sheet music, 100 years for music/video before 1978. Then, there were the new laws +70 after all the original artists died. (corporations don't die - so they can hold music as copyright forever?). Everyone, including AI, learns from other people's music. It's a bit of a head-scratcher, isn't it? There are so many things that aren't copyrighted, and it's a bit of a mystery why. Is it fair use to use a 10-second sample from a movie? ( I say it should be because it doesn't affect the movie revenue if anything brings people to find it) EG 90s hardcore tech, I learnt of movies like Network 1978ish and THX1138 1974ish. Gangster movies etc You could always have to make your version, but then the movie gets not credited because small statements and sentences are not copyrightable. I find copyright too restrictive and too expensive to find out if you can use music, what record label owns it, and if it is still copyright or public domain. There are no authoritative sources to search I have looked at this a lot because I want to bring forth transformative works and attention to songs over 70 years old - songs I heard when growing up. Also, what is the situation with someone publishing sheet music of someone 200 years ago..., if I use that sheet music to make a new iteration and the publisher of the sheet music has a copyright on their page? Is it copyright? Note that there is no money to bring life to many old songs, but I'd like to do it. It takes a lot more effort than making a new song. Covers are not meant to be legal even. And if you're making techno, and there is no singing, just a new mix, is that considered a cover? As the laws and jurisdiction's are clear as mud. So I see this plugin as being helpful and dangerous:)
@dxzzydxm55183 ай бұрын
@@3DaveO you’re yapping, the law of copyright is a constant and this plug in hasn’t made it any harsher. people who want to illegally sample are going to do it and then they’ll most likely get caught. this plug in has nothing to do with that

Ok hear me out, because I think I know exactly what Questlove meant by the parallel between this beef and the Biggie/Tupac situation. There is an eerie similarity because you're right, Drake's not connected like that, but neither was Tupac. Sure, both of them have connections, but they got them through the studio not organically from the street like Kendrick or Biggie. Like Tupac, Drake is purely an entertainer who desperately wants to go gangster while Kendrick and Biggie could have easily gone full gangster at one point but want to get more into music instead. Very ironic, but also a really dangerous dynamic and Questlove is totally right about that.

Who said Nuendo and Video deconstruction and Audio separation with special tool design for separation but negative Polarity Phase Reverse is always and best stable way for precise control over the Audio. 😉 Every DAW with ability to reverse Polarity Phase on two identical Audio Files will result in Sound Cancelation. Now any difference between them will result in sound as a filter able to separate Elements without tails and artifacts. Welcome.

My quick take Viz a viz danger mouse and Spotify. While during the process of creating any given art form or genre it is possible that the piece might not cost any cash at the moment of inspiration which leads to the.creation_ it is impossible to place any adequate sum of monetary value in the abstract on the lifetime of learning and honing one's craft that the artist in question had into the thing up to that point. It's never just been about raw talent. The time it takes to pay the dues could amount to decades but very rarely amounts to minutes but that time has to be spent. It can't be bought for use at a later date or hoarded. The value of something is what others are willing to pay for it, but the Spotify CEO seems to be implying that an artist's time has no value. If so_ fuck him

I’ve def seen some things, vocalign for instance (which I don’t think you mentioned the price of even) When I was first plug in shopping I rushed over to their site with My credit card in hand, thought about how long it would take to save for that as a hobbyist and I just watched some Seed to stage videos instead. But it was a tough 13 minutes. Would have been nice to get it all in the face so it absorbs at once. But may just be me. Nice ep, thanks!

commenting as someone with industry experience working on LLM's for my occupation. your comment in itself is misinformation because there are indeed ways to check if text was AI generated. AI detection tools while not the most accurate can still be used initially, and if there is a high result then this is a prompt for further investigation. the studies on the accuracy of these tools have shown that they have a bias in classifying the output as being human-written rather than being AI-generated text. of course this doesn't mean they don't also get false positives and classify human-written text as being AI-generated, but as said these tools can be used as an initial check before investigating further.
