That induction noise in the parking garage.. I'm generally not a fan of US cars but it's priced well, looks good, sounds good and has a modern dohc, naturally aspirated V8. Good job Ford

Price of the Dark Horse isnt great tbh. Starts at 75k in Germany, a recent M2 starts at 72k. But its worth it due to the engine.

@@origaminefretami3480 sadly the base prices are misleading. The Dark Horse has all the options of the Mustang included in that price whereas the M2 is not amazingly equipped as standard, you don't even get keyless entry for example. You're realistically adding 10k worth of options to match the Mustang, and you can't get ventilated seats. And surprisingly, the Dark Horse seems to be faster than the M2 (non-comp) on all the tracks listed on fastestlaps. That goes toward justifying its price tag.

@@xIcarus227 Fastestlaps is one hell of an unreliable source lol. They probably have the lap times of the F87, not the G87. The M2 is faster and has much more potential, and its available as a manual as well. Only thing the Stang has going for it is the sound.

@@origaminefretami3480 fastestlaps is far from unreliable, every laptime is required to have a source so anyone can check whether it's valid. In this case it is indeed the G87, and the Dark Horse is faster on every track posted there - feel free to check. Yes, they've had a few incorrect laptimes in there and they stubbornly hold to a handful of them (the Focus ST MK4 Nurburgring laptime for example) but a few such events doesn't make it an unreliable source. It's the best we've got anyway.

I have a '24 Dark Horse with a Whipple and, weirdly enough, as a testament to its handling, I am no longer fearful in the rain. Obviously can't stab the gas, but it's pretty much behaves as if it were dry around corners and when braking.

I think you can flat foot shift it. Would bring it in the 10 seconds 100-200. But yes it’s not the straight line speed that impresses.

Ich fahre eine 11,1 Sek 100 km/h - 200 km/h mit einem 320 PS Honda Civic Type R (Alles Serie). Wiegt aber auch nur ca. 1.450 kg.

Had a e39 M5 with full exhaust CAI and ecu, it did a 10.8 100-200 with 3 persons and almost full tank of fuel. This is slow for 460hp and a 2024.

100-200 on the S650 (stock) is 9.72 (assuming you know how to switch gears, otherwise just test an AT), with intake+tune it's 8.11s ...so it's in line. It doesn't matter how "old" a car is, in a straight line test it matters the HP on the wheels.

€25,000 more and you get a horse with both eggs. (US import). To be honest, if you've heard the US version, the EU version doesn't cut it anymore in terms of emotions and sound. For everyone interested in the EU Version. Avoid US version videos.

Most people with an EU Mustang that care about sound will put a Grail exhaust under it anyway. Still legal, but louder then the US version.

The reason the EU Mustang doesn't sound like the US version is due to the OPF. That's also why it lost about 50HP. Removing it solves both problems, but you gotta be prepared to put it back before each MOT (not a big deal, v-bands make it very simple).

wie schön ein Auto mit Legendenstatus das in weiten Teilen noch Analog ist ohne Boxen in den Endrohren...ohne Soundmodul...ein Auto das sicher nicht schneller ist als die aktuelle Turbogeneration aber darum geht es gar nicht

It does, the stock S650 GT (not even the DH.. but it doesn't change much on straight line) 100-200 is 9.72s. If you can't change gears.. buy an AT. ;)

But no one would buy this in Europe. I've seen like 10 mustangs in my life, most with the 2.3l engine, let alone something like this

@@iLL3571 no offense, but you really don't know what you're talking about. The last Mustang was one of the best selling sports cars in Europe, it doesn't matter how many you've seen. They sell well. Also, why are you comparing the 0-100 times of a manual RWD car vs a DCT AWD one? Of course the DCT AWD car is going to look good, you purposefully took a case where that car has an innate advantage and used it to misrepresent the entire point of the Mustang. Why don't you take a look at 100-200 or track times?

0-100 RWD in wet conditions it's normal, but 100-200 a superb makes around 16-17 sec, the mustang ~ 11 sec. a complete other world....

@@ElectronBlueZ06313 ne ne, ich fahr selber nen Mustang und auch einen VW und BMW. Der Mustang ist liebe und emotional betrachtet allem überlegen, erst recht als Schalter! Aber Innenraum und dessen Verarbeitung kannst nicht ansatzweise mit besagten Marken vergleichen, da liegen Welten dazwischen. Sorry!

The car looks gorgeous in terms of design, but it's kinda slow. A Mazda rx-8 goes from 0 to 100 in something like 6 seconds and it's 20+ years older, so it's a bit disappointing. Said that, i still think that it's a gorgeous looking car and would definitely buy it, just for the way it looks!

A maxda rx-8 wont go 0-100 in 6s in those conditions. On a wet road the power advantage cant be really played out.
