New Mutants Omnibus Volume 2 Review

Just checked where to continue: Fall of the Mutants Omnibus: 55 to 61 Inferno Prologue Omnibus: 62 to 70 Inferno Omnibus: 71 to 73 Those are 19 issues that would double dip on an eventual vol 3, so I would pass on that if it ever happens (also just wanted the Claremont run from vol 1 and 2).

Yeah that's right, I'd most likely pass on a third volume for the same reason to be honest

What I find interesting about this volume is how the covers seem to be mis-labled. Usually the art printed on the cover boards is the standard cover and spine images. But with this volume, it's the DM images printed on boards and the standard cover and spine are different.

Great review! I agree that Arthur Adams" artwork is some of his best for Marvel! Do you think that there will be 2 more omnibuses to finish out the New Mutants run?

Thanks! I think there probably will be at some point, but a Volume 3 would involve a lot of double dipping with the Fall of the Mutants, Inferno Prologue and Inferno omnibuses so I'd probably give it a miss personally, especially since I don't think the Louise Simonson run was as strong as Claremont's

I really would just love to have the complete New Mutants 100 issue run. Its been a Grail quest to own that run.
