he was self actualized. this is the 3rd album. usually its the onethat makes or breaks a band.. they said fu*k u the fans he acquired but didnt like and did what they set out to do. and this is the best record.. hes nearly dead and hes performing very well. thats heart and soul and he is closer to God than well adjusted people. these artists barely made a few thousand per show. Pat smear fill in the gaps becuase he admit tsi hard to sing and play guitar at same time. he focus on the vocals and pat jsut makes amazing noises that still noone else can do. its actually not that sad.. we are all ghosts .. thersare so few artist willing to die for other people he did that just to to help otehr people who have struggles and need this music so they dont feel alone. u dont need to breed u dont nneed to lie, or buy stupid shit.. just be alive when ur alive and care about other people . only jesus and mary chain, the cure, and new order and a few bands got old and still rock.. but this is too much for one man to bear will all break at some point som way or other.. its more sad to get old die slow and fat w diabetes.

Bryan Chapman Of course, the paramount is pro shoot in a very "magic" moment for the band. End of 93 on the other hand was a declining time for Kurt and the band and it's surprising to see him in such a good mood, even if only for a night.

I feel like 1993 was Nirvana's peak in terms of live show quality. They grew so much from their underground days, and this really feels big budget. When I hear Drain you, I know this is pure genius. Come as you are, too. I just pause for a moment and think, is this real? It is! Dave said Kurt’s songs were like nursery rhymes because they were so childlike and catchy. The crowd would sing along to every song. So they would have a stadium full of people singing every word. This is what you dream about as a songwriter. That people can relate to your song that well. Kurt was unique with his voice too. Nobody else sounds like he did. And his songs were unique, too. He wrote great rockers and ballads. There will never be another Kurt Cobain. Or Prince. These people are unique. Not in our lifetime. Thanks for the upgrade!

Man, when the crowd sings along with Kurt at the beginning of Rape Me at 59:17, it is so beautiful, so mesmerizing, it brings tears to my eyes. Damn you, Kurt. Why did you have to leave so soon?

I think the gropee found a personal hero in Kurt that night! How sweet and cool of him to take a stand for her! It must have been a nasty one for him to catch it mid song, on stage. This is what, personally, i love about him. Nothing is ever too big, or distracting that it prevents him from being himself! One in a trillion. Never in this lifetime to be seen again.

They were going to get a cat to play guitar but Pat was just better than all the cats they found, so thats how he ended up playing with them.

My God, I want to kick my younger self's ass for not moving heaven and earth to see them live at some point. In my defense I was poor, worked at night, and figured we'd get around to it eventually. Ugh ugh ugh.... But this is amazing to watch. Kurt in great form despite that being rare for him at this time frame.

☆ Excellent performance by NIRVANA! ☆ This is the first time I've seen this show & it was presented more like an artistic movie theme of rock-n-roll you might see on Broadway... a little different than most of the other concerts I've seen so far. Sophisticated. I love the music of course, and the mood had had a smoother tone to it, including the lights, stage ambience, set list and song compositions. A personal touch with more audience interaction than usual & as the balloons dropped when Kurt announced the midnight countdown to New Years, what a surprise! I wasn't expecting that! It was an original and fun way to end the concert & I'm sure the audience loved it! Thanks for NIRVANA for bringing such a kick ass rock performance to us dedicated fans here in the Bay Area! L. I remember Kurt got hit in the face with a shoe at the Detroit show. He grabbed shoe thew back into the crowd then left. Krist got on the mic and started yelling: Thanks for the money! You can blame that moron! Then they all walked off stage and left!
