99 I was going to school for my engineering degree, full time job cooking, and partying my ass off as well I was in a band playing the weekends! I don't know how I was doing it but I remember seeing these guys (kids my age) become famous and I would say they were shit but I was just jealous. They amazingly talented !!

Love these pre Nevermind gigs, where no ones Heard Teen spirit yet, ,maybe a few hardcore bootleggers only. Most bands would be happy with head bobbing and foot tapping for a new song, but when 30 seconds in the mosh pit is a riot, you know youve got a hit record. Think it was Krist who said it blew his mind when he still thought they were a cult sub pop band, and suddenly entire festival crowds are singing every word to all the songs virtually overnight
