Lord Mortkin, the metal as hell Norscan turned almost Everchosen who is both responsible for one of the coolest Chaos artworks and also the character GW made more interesting than the actual worldender by giving him an reason to fall to Chaos that wasn't because he read a scary book as well as the whole "Fuck you Chaos Gods, I choose how I want to live" thing. I hope he gets a new model with the Old World setting. I really really do.

Honestly, I think Mortkin would've been far cooler if there was more unique stuff about him aside from saying "Screw you" to the chaos gods before he died. I'm not trying to just homebrew or anything too much, but I think that it would've been cool if GW would've fleshed out the Dogs of War and such and maybe made a character that's a non chaotic Norscan who leads a pretty large group of non chaotic Norscan mercenaries. I say that sort of thing because it could've offered an actual take on what Mortkin could've been without completely changing him himself, but I'm sure you know what I mean.

Ah finally, looking forward to playing him now that he works, for so long, his skill tree had literally NOTHING on it. As an everchosen LL he should be able to get all chaos gods boons in his skill tree too tho.

Just want to note that CA forgot to update the Tzeentch rewards research rate boost as it still gives a percentage instead of the updated + research change they made. The weird thing is is that they updated the research boost from one of the settlement takeover techs but not the gods one.

I love how MA follows up a campaign where he's been crusading against Norsca, with a campaign as the Norscan who comes down and gets retribution after that happens XD.

Honestly, I think that while Mortkin has potential to be a cool character, but he *really* needed to be more than just a chaos champion who said "screw you" to the chaos gods at the last minute. Because other than that, he's more or less just your standard big chaos champion character. I would've really liked for GW to have done stuff like fleshing out the Dogs of War and other such things instead of just going through with the End Times, specifically giving more flavor to Norscan mercenaries by having there be more non chaotic Norscan mercenaries and maybe making a newer named character who's a non chaotic Norscan who leads a large force of like minded Norscans and forming a Varangian Guard style mercenary company or something.

What a coincidence! I was thinking about a potential Norsca DLC today and how I wish Mortkin would be the main focus of it. He's the best suited for it IMO, I can't think of a more iconic Norscan character.

What would be fun is if instad of giving the lord chariot or chasoshrine which makes them kinda mäh in terms of optiks, why can't they get stuff like, cloaf of the northwind and later seven league boots? just make them fast give them charge and what not but don't change the moddel lust have them race towards the enemy and send them flying.

Monstersabound should just abandoned the north conquer marienburg and make that his new base of operations for there are plenty of enemies to slaughter blood for the blood God skulls for the skull throne

Could be funny if you spent the campaign hunting down the marks before you actually start building a faction and recruiting more armies. Just take Morty and that single army running around whacking the champions before you pay any attention to the rest of the world unless you need a quick raid and sack
