Oh Miss Lynn, I can see your frustration and anxiety. I totally understand how you feel about attempting to clean and purge and nothing is working out.! Step away and go for a walk! Don't be overwhelmed because your household is out of order. Stand back, take a breath deep and thank god that your children are still home, making messes, putting fingerprints on absolutely everything! I couldn't wait for mine to grow up so I was able to have a spotless home. Now I'd give anything to have those days back of toys, fingerprints and endless laundry. Don't be so hard on yourself! 💛 And thanks for your blogs, I enjoy watching your channel.

Thank you so much for the video. The clip of you trying to put those beanbags on marketplace but then having your pup and your baby girl reach for you and you going back and forth trying to be present yet still trying to complete tasks and improve your home for your family just pulled at my heart strings. It truly hit home❤😢 you are a great mama. Have a great weekend. You are doing great

Deary, I’ll always watch till the end. I might miss something 😱. It’s all about the kiddos when they’re growing up. They need our love, discipline and guidance. There has to be some ‘me’ time too. I was a single mom for my two and felt overwhelmed a lot of the time, I pray I did a good job. (But I think we all question that when we’re older) I love it when you you talk Lynn. Wise information comes from your mouth. Lol

I love how you organized the rec room. Yes those bean bags needed to go😊Your baby gets around so fast😀I know of a boy who used to scoot around like Emma and they nicknamed him Scooter. I think they still call him that. The great part of being a forty year old mom is that you recognize how fast time flies. I had my last baby when I was forty and my baby is now 26. So it’s great when you can take the time to read and play amidst cleaning 😊👍❤

Well done, Lynn, on your thoughts about making time with your children a priority. One idea that helped me when my sons were younger and hubby and I were both working (retired now) was to put some music on and a timer and do a family clean-up for ten minutes or so right after supper. I loved watching you read to Emma. She's a busy girl, entertaining herself really well while you tidied up. The cords were a never-ending problem at our house, too. Good job on getting them sorted.

I decluttered a shelf in my kitchen today and my lazy Susan. Doesn’t sound like much but my husband hasn’t been on board with me getting rid of some of my fiesta ware. So we compromised and I stored some of it. He even helped me wrap it up and box it. Feels so good to have more space in my cabinet. It’s a start and it feels so good! Thanks for the motivation!

I've tried a couple different versions of the DIY Dawn Powerwash and they work okay if things aren't really greasy, but I can tell a big difference when things are greasy. It didn't live up to my expectations (at least the versions that I tried). I prefer the bought version. I buy the Free & Clear version...hoping it has a little less chemicals.

It’s been a little since I posted but i always enjoy watching your videos! You are such an inspiration and like I have shared with a few others, a great example a proverbs wife! I would like to offer you some tips for Hazel. What she is doing is behavior so now you have to correct it. I definitely recommend crate training. Now, if your dog has never been crate trained then the first few days/weeks will be a bit challenging but prob nothing more than what you have been dealing with. Anytime, you have to leave her “completely” alone. Place her in the crate. You will almost in a sense need to retrain her like a puppy. After she eats or drinks, she will need to go out. Every hour, take her out then put her back in her crate. I would keep doing this until you see her behavior change, in other words, not peeing in the house. We al know pets have occasional accident but what you describe is not incontinence. I would also keep her on a very short leash with when in the house so you can immediately correct the behavior when it happens. Keeping her on a tether kinda limits what she can do. You can also reinforce this by telling her potty break. And then making a cue to the door. Like our barely 2 year old lab/pits know what the term potty break means and they run to the door. Lastly, at night until she can control her accidents, then I would crate her at night. A crate is not a bad thing, some have their opinions but the way we have trained our dogs makes “want” to be in their crate. They see it as their bedroom and now they just go in to hide a fav toy or sleep with doors open. Most of the time brown lab/pit room is underneath we our bed or my husband’s chair. I hope this helps! I definitely know your frustration all too well but feel confident these tips above will help. And fyi: I wasn’t and still not a serious “dog lover” so if there’s hope for me, I know there is for you. Always love your vids Lynn! God bless you and Chris and the kids! ❤️🙏🏾

Lynn I love your videos! And I love how you don’t try to lead us on about your life, it’s chaotic and messy and as soon as you get caught up it starts all over again. Lol I got married last year and I do not have any biological children, I am 31 my husband is 38, but I gained his children a 16 year old son and a 6 year old daughter and GIRL! I would tell you but I’m sure you already know hahah it’s def different and interesting and a lot more messy and dirty sometimes. Btw I must tell you that in probably 90% of your videos I absolutely love how many times you pick up stuff and toss it up and open and close drawers with your feet it’s so funny 😆 much love!

I'm not one that thinks the Dawn Power wash is a miracle or anything, to me it's just like using soap out of the bottle and hot water. I have made the diy type mix because I love the spray bottle that the power wash comes in to let things soak/sit before I wash them or if I don't have time to wash it right then so it can break down the grease and it worked just like the actual power wash does for me. I just looked up the diy recipe on google and made it in about a minute. VERY quick and easy and very worth it and cheap. I made it the first time on July 18th and I'm just finally getting to the bottom to where it's not wanting to spray at certain angles as of Sep 13th and I use it multiple times a day every day. For 16 oz use 13 oz water, 2 oz dawn or any dish soap, 1 oz rubbing alcohol. I stirred it all together in a measuring cup and then poured it into the power wash bottle. Much easier for me.

Question: Do you use fabric softener? When you were stripping the clothes, it got me thinking about fabric softener. I did some research on it(because of future cloth diaper use) and it can do some awful things to your clothes. I often wonder if fabric softener can cause clothes to be more dirty over time. Good job at being the woman/wife/mom/motivated that you are!!

Washer repairman told me liquid fabric softener was horrible for your washing machine - gums up inside the machine. I use vinegar only in my rinse dispenser.

The dark water you are seeing in the laundry stripping is the dye being pulled from the clothes, which overtime will fade the clothes. Laundry stripping is just a waste of time in my opinion. If you are doing your laundry correctly, laundry stripping should not be necessary.
