I'm waiting for the usual rumour-mongering, content recycling, then the BS 'benchmark' channels that never actually show the product, just game clips with software overlays, which we all know can be manipulated. Then comes the sponsored fluff, flexing, and of course, the scalpers. Rinse and repeat. If some of us are lucky, we will have access to the problematic, lower performing models around 12 months after launch.

There needs to be a spoof video of the Mission Impossible repelling high security room scene, but they are grabbing an RTX 5090 instead of the agent list. It will be interesting what they actually sell it for. I'm looking to build a second system, and I'll likely go for a 5090. But, the 5080 is looking good too. I just wish the 5080 had 24GB of memory. Makes a difference when doing 4K renders in Blender.

lol, those prices.. I’m sure those are the right now price. Next year they will be higher still. I’m thinking more like 3300.00 out the door for a 5090. More if you want a desirable brand.

Here we go again. 5080 12gb for $1000. What happened to all the comments? Yeah, sorry all out of my price range. Oh yeah, tariffs going to make those GPUs more expensive. Sorry gamers

Yeah I don’t like this is going. It’s probably going to be a repeat of the 4000 series all over again but with more inflated pricing. The #1 thing I’m excited for is the AMD 8800XT GPU within RDNA4 which will be a tad faster than 7900XT, match the RTX5070 in raterzation and raytracing, have a excellent 16GB VRAM on a 256 bit memory bus (Yes it will be GDRR6 but it better to have more vram than faster vram in my opinion) , and cost around $500 or below. I believe AMD is going to Rule to budget and midrange area like a king. Unfortunately for the high end Nivdia still wins. But the good news is the majority of gamers don’t end high end anyways.
