Always enjoy your content. Was lucky to see them live with gene loves and echo. Your absolutely right you did not hear them on the radio...not even New york city which had WLIR but Joy Division / New Order was not on their playlists.

Low life is New orders best album! I loved this album so much when it came out! And again got those 12" singles! I was 25 a DJ and involved with a band who attempted to play stuff off this album! Not well 😂 Hookey his bass makes it and some of Barneys best lyrics! Great memories from those days! 👍

Subculture Low Life version is probably my favourite New Order song. John Robie version of Subculture is an absolute atrocity. Peter Saville hated it so much he just put the song in a plain black sleeve.
