NIIICE! I worked at the House of Shock for 17 years and the conductor of the train would always stop and watch the fire and fireworks blast from the rooftop . LoL

“Prop coffin” is not a prop ;) back in the early days, SOMEONE from House of Shock actually used to go grave robbing for coffins. So I’d imagine some of those are still in use there to this day.

Very excited to visit the haunts of NOLA when visiting October 2022. Added bonus is it looks like y'alls are in buildings. Here in North Carolina, most of ours take you way out in dark forests and this past year one of my drunk dumbass friends got separated from us, lost for 4 hours, cops finally found them walking down a road 3 miles away 🤣🤣🤣

If you liked this, you have to go to The Mortuary this year to experience ‘Rift Wars’ - their traditional 3 level haunt...but you are armed with a giant, military looking laser gun this year. It’s incredible. I’ve been 3 times already. NOLA Nightmare didn’t make me feel safe at all with their COVID follow through. The Mortuary was top notch in everything. Bonus points: if you pick the 7 pm slot, and show up around 6:30, you’ll be the first one in. We tried to do a later slot the second time, and ended up getting bottlenecked for the last couple rooms, but that’s because the group before us was paralyzed in fear. The third time, got there early, and were the first ones through, again. Get there early, bring a drink and have it while you’re waiting in line, that’s what we’ve done.

We did standard but I'd recommend paying the extra 10 bucks. It took us an hour and a half to get through the line, lol
