I can see the Saints letting AK walk, holdout, or whatever he thinks is going to give him a sense of leverage and then go out and sign Dalvin Cook to show him the team doesn't need or want him anymore.

Kamara yards per carry last 3 seasons 3.7, 4.0, 3.9. He should take a pay cut. As of right now he’s our biggest cap hip at 18 million according to Over The Cap

They probably get a deal done with AK before training camp starts. That's my guess. It's just based on the fact we haven't had any leaks to the media yet, that I'm aware of, at least. If you think the other side is being unreasonable is when you leak stuff like this, isn't it? If there is a lot of animosity, that's when you start leaking stuff, trying to apply some public pressure.

Let him. How much he gonna get paid at 30 after missing a year? Not much. Although i think it's better to trade him and get something in return than let it get to that. I think trying to sign a 3 yr 30 million deal would be insane. Why did we draft the top 75 running back? Why restructure Taysom? If we pay anybody we should be trying to keep Adebo who was the best player on the team last year, is young and remains unsigned. For contrast Rhamondre Stevenson just signed a 4 yr 17m and he's a bellcowv entering his prime. If i was AK i would want a trade to Miami. If i was the team i would do it.

Kamara is a rotten apple in the box. He is going to affect the locker room negatively. He is in the same category as Winston and Thomas. And on top of that he isn’t worth a top ten running back type of money. If he doesn’t agree to a reasonable contract then the Saints should trade him.

AK with bad QBs in the last 3 seasons gained 5K on the ground and 4k through the air, the rest of those guys are not close. Considering Henry was drafted a year before AK he's a better RB than Henry

I’d say give him 8 a year for the next two years and have a another 8 for the third year all three years guaranteed third year hanging on if the Saints do not trade him if they keep him for the third year, he still gets eight guaranteed At least it gives them time to judge from his performance and then he’ll be open for another contract if he still doing great

@@JamesSkrmetta yeah maybe but I would think he would only take less then the 25 that’s on his contract now by having less guaranteed And the saints would have a option to move on after two years and get him for one more if he’s still looking good And a 16 for two or 3yrs for24 And they can always spread it further later and I think kamara would go with that as long as it’s locked that he’s getting that money 💰 anyway thanks for the response. Just my thoughts.
