I find the interviews done by the smaller entities or individuals who truly KNOW and love the show to be far better than interviews on major networks where they sometimes can't even get the names right and clearly don't know the storylines. Great interview!

Unfortunately, disagree with previous comments. Interviewer spent too much of her time talking about herself & her opinions. Also the question about "where would you go via time travel" has been asked ad nauseum by 100s of previous interviewers. Caitriona & Sam gracious & kind as always.

I believe that there was love between them when they started and then she backed off and out for whatever reason and moved one …. Sam on the other hand I believe is still in love with her…. And yes it has changed on screen as well … I still love this series but I think difficult when feelings change ….they love each other …but no longer in love …my opinion

I watched a lot of interviews these days and it's funny to see that over the years their appearence changed a bit. You see a young exited "couple" the first years and now they seem be a sattled long years married one ☺ Sam seems to be worn out or extremely tiered these days.

Lauren's interview was well thought out, and her questions gave equal attention to Sam and Caitriona. I thought the GMA one was deplorable, notably with one of its seasoned hosts, most egregiously mispronouncing Sam's last name repeatedly ( Hoohan?). The interview was mostly directed to Cait. Sam's appearance on 'Today' went well; the hosts were legit Sam friendly, and Sam himself seemed more relaxed with his great sense of humor serving him well. Btw, Caitriona made a glaring faux pas when she mentioned how old Jamie and Claire were when we first met them in season 1 of OL. Jamie was born May 1st,1821, and had just turned 22 at the time Claire, who was 27.5 (born in Oct of 1918), arrived in 1743. Claire ( per the books) was 5.5 yrs older than Jamie.

Irgendwie lächelt nur Sams Mund nicht sein ganzes Gesicht.Vielleicht sind das einfach viel zu viele Termine und Interviews.Wann hat man mal Zeit nur für sich oder wann lernt er denn Texte für seine Filme.Irgendwie macht es auch als Zuschauer müde diesen Interviews zu zusehen

Sam Heughan a l'air assez mal à l'aise, comme éteint. Catriona Balfe parle beaucoup et avec une certaine autorité. On ne sent plus cette complicité entre eux qui existait dans les interviews des premières saisons. Ceci est mon ressenti. Peut-être suis-je dans l'erreur.

I must agree. The camaraderie and genuine affection between them seems to be gone. They always joked and laughed with one another but now they seem somewhat stiff and uncomfortable. I always felt that Sam had deep feelings for Catriona but she did not feel the same. I also think the constant attention of the fans looking for that “real” relationship between the two of them took a toll. The distancing started last year or so. Very sad that all those rumors and craziness took such a toll. Of course, this is only my opinion and I could be very wrong.

I agree. Sam seems far more relaxed in interviews when he’s by himself. I think some of the comments between them in some of the interviews, come out quite pointed, I wasn’t very comfortable about how their exchange ref Sam having only one take, in the GMA interview. I also always felt that Sam had deep feelings for Cait, which were not reciprocated. I feel the distancing started in 2018, but I agree that it has grown more, perhaps since last year.

I think Sam has been very busy since he has to do all the press for his film Love again and then for Outlander. Its tough to be always on the road, sleeping in hotels and never be in your personnal stuff!

about a month ago ..when her hair is slicked down you can tell it is highlighted ..but in this interview it is REALLY blonder ...but I think it is the the lighting as well ..on GMA her hair was nice with the highlights.. I'm getting used to it ..the first time I saw her like that it looked reddish ( about a month ago) and didn't go well with her complexion ...this is better ..
