You can tell fender is making guitars for players not just collectors and they love to mod stuff themselves too. So much more interesting than an endless line of golden era reissues that aren't really spec'd like guitars they are based on.

Granted, when I was a kid affordable guitars were 1/4 of the price of these, but then gas was 35 cents a gallon... but the affordable guitars when I was a kid were absolute crap. Squier is absolutely killing it. I love the paranomal line!

it is crazy to think the quality of guitar you can get in that 300 to 500 range. G&L tributes, Squiers, Donner, Firefly, and my favorite, IYV are just killing it with the quality and price point.

Paranormal series has come a long way when it first released a couple years back. very Impressed with this run. Especially with the 12 string the telecaster and the the strat with the P-90s. but who am I kidding they're all rad!

The Nashville strat. Literally my dream guitar. Ended are the days of buying a stratocaster and replacing its pickups with the closest things to telecasters. I've been chasing the tele sound with the strat look and feel. No longer do I need to settle for a Nashville tele

@@charlesbolton8471 Oh that's wild, yeah I don't know if I would be entirely on board with that... I do like a good body contour on the back, makes it a lot more comfortable to play. I've not played many Telecasters but that's always been one part that I don't like about them.

That Nashville Strat is cool. Love the double bound body and the pickup selector moved to the back. A push-push pot and a tailpiece without the sides would perfect it for my taste.

Squier Paranormal Esquire Deluxe resembles the very famous Deryck Whibley signature squier tele model. Just put two red Xs (ducktape) on it and remove the silly coil switch and you've got yourself an iconic punk rock machine :)

Cool bunch of guitars! I love the Nashville Strat/Tele-I’ve been wanting something like that for decades. And it’s double-bound! Be still my heart! And it’s about time they did an Electric XII in the Squier line. I’d be really interested in that, but I’ve already got a Mexican Electric XII from the Alternate Reality series that Fender did in 2019. The Squier XII is half the price I paid for the Fender, and used are going for $300 to $750 more that what I paid for mine. I’ve even seen one going for twice the original price, but I don’t know if it actually sold for that. Original price was $999, with a crappy gig bag. It took me a couple of years, but I finally found a Jazzmaster case that was long enough to accommodate the 12-string headstonck. A regular Jazzmaster case won’t fit. I got my case from Amazon-it’s a Crossrock hardshell. I don’t imagine the Squier XII will come with even a gig bag.

Finally something fell into this realm from of the universe next door that is something we would want, rather than the tentacled abominations that usually spill out of that portal. They all sound fantastic, and if I didn't already have an electric 12 I'd be looking real hard at that Jazzmaster. Squire is really upping their game; they all seem like a lot of guitar for the money. I hope they do more with that Paranormal concept.

I ordered that Jazzmaster XII in Lake Placid Blue. I've never been more excited for a Squier in my life! Can't wait until it arrives. I just wish it would have come with a cheap hard case or gig bag but otherwise Squier/Fender knocked it out of the park with this one! I also might need to buy that Strat-O-Sonic in Vintage Blonde.

The nashville strat is FANTASTIC. as far as keeping a 12 string in tune, i spent 3 hours friday tuning my piano so the 12string is no issue.

Jokes aside I was looking at the fender vintera jazzmaster and another 12 string separately and now having these 2 guitars in one is a blessing for my bank account. Love the creamy white colour, much better than the very harsh white of the normal squire jazzmaster.

Fender had a Stratosonic years ago, in TV Yellow and Heritage Cherry and they had Fender "Black Dove- P-90- style pick-ups. I believe they were American-made also. Early 2000's, I believe. I was really high at the time so it's a little foggy, but I remember them playing and sounding nice.

Good explanation of a 12 string being a chorus. Digitech do the Mosaic. It has a different chorus voice for every string and the lower string have an octave up sound. It really pulls off a convincing 12 string sound. I have a Rickenbacker single coil PU put my Fender Duo Sonic . Used together gives me a Roger Mcguinn of the Byrds sound

When Fender came out with the paranormal line, i thought wtf is all this mishmash?? I just ordered a Paranormal Strat o Sonic! I think it's going to be pretty great. I'm very happy that today I can get a nice guitar in my price range. I have 7. The most expensive is my Fender Telecaster FMT HH at $900.00.

I love the idea of the nashville strat/tele (and it's the only one you'll find in this price range), but I'm not mad on the colour. Based on the paranormal series' history I know they'll do some other colours down the line so i'll wait. A nice surf green would be INCREDIBLE on that.

That Esquire Deluxe is the closest I've wanted to having a Squier since I stopped being a high schooler, got a job and had money. Not a massive fan of the big headstock, but the neck doesn't have to stay.

Can't believe I missed this video or the release of this years paranormal series. I think they really crushed it this time, I want all of the guitars, I think the esquire probably my favorite, but the 12 string is a close second if not tied, just as close with the p90 'special' strat that would match my Les Paul special tribute almost exactly. I think i might need one and to refinish it in white to match.. That nashville strat never did it for me, but the double binding really pulls it all together. Damn I want them all

I have an HB 25th anaversary TE that looks like that double bound strat. Same binding, same type of finish, except the HB is copper color. Plays beautifully and sounds great.

That P90s loaded Strat-O-Sonic also looks a bit like a simpler, more affordable version of the JA-90 disguised as a strat, which is pretty cool. Too bad it does not come in white, though :p

the stratosonic as well as the telesonic and the tc-90 were all models from the 90s and 2000s, and were the obvious influences for that JA sig model.

8:00 I couldn’t afford the Player Plus version of this pickup config, but this strange hybrid model guitar checks all the boxes for me!! If only I had waited a single year! Just one year! Especially the 2-tone burst with the black pickguard. That is the perfect guitar! I’m stuck with a lake placid blue Squier Bullet Tele now I guess.

I bought one of the Fender Electric XII's when Guitar Center was blowing them out. Best $600 I've ever spent in there! If these 12's are anywhere close to that in, I highly recommend picking one up and slapping some elixir strings on them.

Even though some miss the mark, these paranormal and alternate reality series is always cool to see what they mixed up next. I saw these announced awhile ago, but im sure glad i did cause at the time i was just about to pull the trigger on one of the alternate reality XII that was out a couple years ago but im so glad to see squier can get me something similiar for almost a quarter of the price of the xii. Unfortuneately though, i talked myself out needing a 12 string.

I Bought the Nashville Strat, and while I don't like the fretboard, it plays great and surprisingly, it has a sound of its' own that is new and unique. The center Strat p/up sounds very much like a Strat neck p/u so you can get a Strat tone with it, and with the 2- position tone knob you get very sweet lead tone, this guitar is a tone monster and I predict this style will become very popular. Great video!!

I am contemplating getting one but, I already have a strat so that made me second guess it. Do you feel like the sounds are different enough to justify getting another? 😂 And what is up with the fretboard you don’t like? Is it just the type of wood or did you get a piece of wood grain you don’t care for?
