Having a self-taunt and no escape tool basically means that her damage needs to be overtuned as fuck (otherwise the champ literally cannot do anything except int). By giving her the ability to retreat from unfavourable scenarios they are free to nerf her damage without making her unplayable garbage.

When she does get somewhat decent , or when lethality builds start working on her, Rito rushes to nerf her , just so she is "in line " with the other useless adc's , even if she never is truly OP . Sivir is another story , I started playing her 2 years ago when she was strong for like 3 months due to the lethality build . After that , they quickly reworked her kit to make sure she can not buy lethality anymore , and since then for the past 2 years she has constantly been/ still is totally useless ... The only adc's recieving special treatment that seem to always be broken no matter the meta / builds , are Twitch , Vayne and Samira ...

Sion has been my perma ban champ for i believe more than a year now, since nothing you can do will stop him from just winning the game without even being pressent in any of the fights, i have lost games, in which my team was up like 5k gold and sion would just push out the side lanes to our inhibitors. no one could 1v1 him, to stop him we needed 2 people, which would mean that only 3 of us could go fight for an objective. And thats it either you let them take all the objectives until eventualy they just become too strong or let sion just end the game by himself. Same situation with yorick, but at least he isn't getting a buff with all of that going on.

Galio main here. His damage got nerfed to compensate for the fact that you will now be able to get 2-3 passive procs in per fight instead of just 1. This is a buff to AP bruiser builds but AP assassin builds should still be viable. I highly recommend learning him, he's quite fun and his ult can solo win teamfights!

Riot buffed Karma specifically because they wanted to see more Karma mid(they themselves said so), then after we see Karma mid Riot nerfs Karma because Karma shouldn't be played mid, but rather as support. LOL LOL!! And the funny thing is, rather than backtracking on the AP ratios, Riot is nerfing Karma's playability aka her R cooldown, which is what makes Karma fun to play in the first place.

Why nerfing so many items? It's something that I never understood about riot-balancing reasoning. Let us take for example brutalizer and dirk. It's early game items, why nerfing them? Removing mythics was because mythics were a bad idea to begin with. Think of Everfrost, Galeforce, Duskblade and old Hullbreaker to name a few. Also mythic stats and passives gave way too much ability haste and movement speed which isn't healthy for the game. The game isn't about champions reaching their full potential, that's meant for scaling champs only, the game is about fake teamplay ( especially in soloQ ) to end the game by hitting the nexus.

Nerfed every item early item, nerfed support items, removed the support dorans strat which was reinventing the meta finally. It's not. Yasou and Yone specificlaly get reduced crit chance, so infinity edge is less effective on them then every other crit user. (Still good buff on them which they need tbh Yasou is struggling rn)

I'm an adc main and i'm really happy with the crit buffs but i'm happier for supp nerfs because this role is way too inflated right now. An almost 0 risk role shouldn't have so much impact in the game and nerfing the free gifted gold income is a right choise to make the role more "fair".

I disagree with single smolder nerf, removing scaling execute on his q. It was basicly only reason to stack post 225 stacks as burn damage has waaay too low scaling with stacks, tweak the numbers but dont remove it compleatly. Rest is fair as long as w also gets visual update to represent smaller hitbox.
