Ooft! The feedback sound of that pen on the TR paper 😍

Your penmanship is beautiful. That one is well turned. No chunks of color as some I have seen.

It felt so nice too! I’ve since changed to another ink and it seems to be dry. No hard starts but I’m getting a thinner line. I can only imagine that a wet ink would be extra juicy with the stub!

I love this pen. I received it from my husband for my birthday in April. (I asked specifically for this pen. He doesn’t quite understand the whole fountain pen thing.) I have a Fine Flex nib and currently have it inked in Manyo Shirakashi. I’ll take it out of its case just to look at it-it’s so darn pretty.

It is definitely gift worthy! It’s so unique. I have that ink! I’ll have to try that out in this pen

I have this pen in the older model without the ink window and the grip section that tapers down to the nib in a slight curve. The grip is really comfortable, but I miss the ink window sometimes. ;) I have mine inked with Barock Umbra at the moment and before that I used Iroshizuku tsukushi. Looking at my swatches, I think Iroshizuku ina-ho would also be a good match, but that ink has been discontinued … oh, tsukushi as well, sorry… 🤦♀️ Maybe yama-guri ? I just realise that most of my browns lean towards red. Diamine Raw Sienna might work. Maybe Kaweco Caramel Brown. I might have to try some other brands though… 😂

Haha! I loved reading your comment and train of thought! I have SO many browns and all lean really warm. Ina-ho would be a good match. I hadn’t thought about how this pen leaned green until others who saw it in person, said so.
