Hahaha the card on devotion about high quality vanilla is such a good marketing move. Plain overdoses of synthetic vanillin will change color overtime. The issue isn’t that there’s higher quality vanilla in it, rather it’s that the stability team couldn’t figure out how to keep the color from changing. Smart to turn it into a marketing scheme

After receiving my very anticipated bottle of Tonka Imperiale in the post today, i also received a sample of a fragrance I'd never heard of. . Forgive me by Carine. I sprayed this unknown perfume on me feeling brave, and was instantly bewitched by it. Absolutely not my usual taste in the slightest, yet within this vintage style white floral, i found myself enjoying the juxtaposition of bright and soft, dirty and clean, smooth and sharp, so beautiful. Had to come and find a review of it, and here you are. Love your explanation of it. Jackel and Hyde. . Yes. Still not sure if it's me enough to warrant a 100ml bottle, but this scent is going to stay with my senses for a while i suspect.

I will definitely give Devotion a try as I love Bake and Far from And perfume and gourmet fragrances in general and as I can’t leave Pannatone alone , I think that I will love this one .

Saw the Ad for devotion during the screening of wonka yesterday and agree Katy Perry seems really wrong as an Italian siren , was excited to see it though and an Ad for my work company ( a first ) Homesense less so 😂.

Ohh I love Cresp and I love lemons 🍋 especially for my treats! but I’m not big of a lemon cake on myself so I’m a bit ehh I prefer lemon in the summer? And not in gourmand form! Though I can appreciate what he’s created!! The one I’m most excited about is The Forgive Me! When I heard Ropion was the nose I ran to order this! He’s one of my favorite noses and tuberose with some spice is another fav for me! I have not blind bought anything In a long time!! So I hope I love it!! The bottle the notes it felt like 1987 for a min 😅 💕

Devotion smells like those old Flintstones push-pops or creamsicle ice creams. I didn't get any bready qualities, but it wasn't a bad fragrance. If you told me it was a candle scent for the Orange Blossom Strawberry Shortcake doll, I'd believe it.

Really want to try Devotion. Bake is very clever perfumery and great longevity but I got vanilla sponge with sweet lemon icing on my skin. A bit too much for me personally.

I have always found Italian perfumes a bit too loud and in your face, with the distinct exception of D&G's Sicily, which is a true love. I sent for a sample of Bake after your review, but hmmmmmmmmmm still on the fence with gourmands! For me, scent, just like personal style, needs to be age appropriate, but have not completely given up on gourmands. Going for a sniff test! Thank you.

If Ella K made 50 ml or 10 ml I would probably buy some of the scents for fun, but I am not so over the moon that I want to spend that amount of money for a 100 ml. They are too meh for that and the bootle cap look a bit tacky 🤨 Thank you for another fun and interesting video x

Not getting into the details, but the story refers to both shadow and light in all of us, as this flesh eating beasts's name was Star!! Must try if for the mythology alone.

Devotion ad - any advert with a celebrity is mildly irritating. Would rather see an Italian woman (she could be 18 or 80), the sound of church bells and she’s rushing through a small town square to get to whatever it is that she’s devoted to. Don’t care if it’s a church or a cake shop. Would love to see ads depicting people wearing fragrance for themselves. Sorry, that was a longer rant than I intended 🙊
