Glad to hear a fellow training pilot is local to Bristol however I trained at dunkeswell as bristols rates are expensive and dunkeswell don’t charge for landings. Been told Bristol do. Good luck with training

Best terminal interiors I've ever seen. Really nailed down the terrain details throughout on a very fine scale; even on the ground side.

The glass texturing blew me away - set it to rain and head inside the terminal to look at the rain through the glass!

I don't live in the UK but I think one of the only times I did, it was Bristol I visited, it was once of the nicest areas on the planet imo. Nice review btw!

Wow, that is superb. I flew BMI Regional BRS-DUS in 2015 - I had a drink at the coffee shop, took some aircraft photos on the outside terrace and remember the WHS - Definitely a buy!

This time we definitely agree upon that this is absolutely stunning! But, no wonder, that's what I expected Bristol to be, after having bought Oxford, Southend and Wycombe from Pilot Plus a while ago I knew what superior quality these guys deliver. Nevertheless, they still are able to put some extras on top. Unbelievable great work from the guys at Pilot Plus, and a very nice review video. Thanks, guys!

I'm a life long Bristolian so I've flown out of Bristol, as a passenger, many times in airliners and GA aircraft. This scenery does look very accurate and great textures. I currently use the Bristol scenery from the Marketplace and I fly GA in and out of there a lot. What I really like about that scenery is how crowded the GA pan is, I can hardly find a parking spot sometimes. I'm put off the PilotPlus one because of the lack of GA statics.

Hi! Glad to hear your thoughts! VATSIM wise the less statics the better and ideally imo there would be none (as connecting to fly on Vatsim would inject the traffic from the network bringing BRS to life) but that aside, I thought there was certainly a healthy amount of statics with this - though it's all subjective 🙂 thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Bought this a week ago. It's a fantastic airport, very well detailed, but I wish they had done the road textures around the airport. The road outside the main terminal looks so bad it makes the airport look unfinished imo. I have Farnborough Airport from Burning Blue Design, and every road is textured, paved, with traffic lights, street lighting, fencing etc. It just makes everything look so much nicer.

true, the Burning Blue Farnborough is exceptionally well detailed even outside of the airport into the perimeter environment.

Hi Avgeek. Nice video review. Thanks. Quick question. Can you tell me which controller do you use for the drone pls? Since the Asobo update my Xbox PC controller is no longer being recognized by MSFS or it quickly drops out. Very frustrating. I've had to configure my Hotas joystick as an alternative but it's not the same. Thanks!

Looks better than the UK2000 scenery. Haven’t been super impressed with that scenery considering most simple sim features still aren’t implemented.

Agreed and I remember for me it kept breaking too (one stream many months ago I flew in and it was all textured white because it had not been compiled properly or something). This blows the other out the water entirely - though a plus to the UK2000 one is that they don't have statics

I agree with most of the comments on here. It is a stunning airport and one I could easily add to my collection. I do wonder though why developers spend so much time and effort creating the interior details on show here. Could you honestly say that every time you land here you would take the time to go inside and look around? Maybe the first time and then for me that would be it. It's only an observation and obviously lots like that sort of thing. Great work though.

It's a good point - I personally don't mind too much about interiors as they gobble performance however this doesn't have any hit for me (sim locked to 35fps on my system) and it does look fantastic inside and out

Sadly due to marketplace restrictions we have no way of providing users an option for static aircraft toggles. We continue to look into this and hope to find a solution that is user friendly and works for Xbox and PC.

Fingers crossed! I'll try make a note of where the statics are so when we fly and we all spawn in, we'll avoid them so there's no doubling up (though you can't spawn on them yourself if that makes sense as they're blocked out as stands) Taxiing in could be problematic with the statics when it's busy - we'll find out tomorrow 😂
