NEW PRAGA BOHEMA! My First Drive and Romain Grosjean SENDS IT

This is the brand new Praga Bohema, and everything you want to know about it! Praga's epic new hypercar has arrived, and as well as a full first look, join me for a first drive at the Slovakiaring, a run on the road, plus hot laps with Romain Grosjean on track. What a jaw dropping machine!
It's not every day that you get to not only take a first ever walkaround of a brand new car as it is introduced, but also experience it in anger for a full understanding of what it's all about. Praga have established quite the reputation from their race cars and after the concept study R1R of recent years, the Bohema is now a full production model limited to 89 units.
Named after the region of Bohemia, with Praga coming from Czechia, hence the Prague connection, it's a car designed to offer the ultimate in track performance. The reason for 89 units links to it being 89 years since Praga were kicked out of a motorsport event for being too dominant. It's powered by a 3.8l TT V6 sourced from Nismo, it produces 700 horsepower, while weighing only 975kgs; a remarkable power to weight ratio.
After exploring the new car in detail in the pit lane, it will be time for a drive a first drive on the Slovakiaring to warm into it. Next is hopping on board with Josef Kral for a run on the road to get a completely different impression of what the Praga Bohema can offer, before returning to the track for some laps with none other than Romain Grosjean.

That deserves a massive shout out to Praga for bringing a car to market that is so complete. So many times you see these crazy wild race cars for the street and they never drive them or they give you a single lap demo or something but Praga is out there giving it the full run out, and that's incredible. I think using the VR38dett is also a hugely wise choice for reliability. Yeah awesome car.

Fun fact: this is almost half the weight of a Chiron, and almost haft the HP, so it has the nearly the same power to weight as a Chiron, but what's even better is this probably costs a fraction of the price for overall a more fun car.

Fun facts. The first driver Josef, who's you take for a daily drive was more succesful than Romain in the past. These two drivers had a lot races agains to each other and Josef had more points, but Romain had more sponsors for F1.

Why not?? Its a nissan engine with a light weight body and fully road legal capable of going over speed bumps apparently. Seems quite practical and should be reasnably reliable with that engine.

Not a daily of course. The beauty of this car is that you can drive to the racetrack and race on that racetrack in the same car and still be competitive against purpose built race cars. It really is an incredible achievment.

When you get one you also have a choice of how aggressively you want the engine to be tuned. I believe you can have it up to over 1000 hp if you desire.

Love that Light Weight approach, most of the nowadays cars are insanely powerful like 2000 HP or so but the weight are also very high, this must be so great to drive on the race track or curved roads ... but is is loud as hell

Would be nice to see a track mini-race betweek Tushek TS 900 Racer Pro, Brabham BT 62(R) and this BTW, that engine in that config as I suspect has almost no turbo lags but still, once the turbos spin up it is brutal, and the exhaust they've attached is just perfect, GTR is quite muted but here you can hear how it breaths and spits power

I really like this, Praga know how to make great race cars and compared to other cars in this circle, £1.28m doesnt seem horrific... Thing is in my head i know you could still buy a good GT3 car, enclosed trailer, tow vehicle, fuel, support and many track days for the same price and still be quicker on track. Is the ability to drive it on the road worth it?
