Check any and all non-fluid hoses then replace. Often times there could be a clog and or crack that will result ina rough idle

These cars are definitely worth the work that you are doing to this one. You can't say that about many other 30+ year old cars! When you disconnect the coil, don't pull out the secondary, instead disconnect the negative of the primary (white-red wire). Otherwise your coil is still discharging and with very high resistance which is bad for the coil (also it is still making a spark)
