Sonic CD is widely regarded as the best Sonic game of all time? I know a few people think that, but if you compared interest between Sonic 2 and CD it's night and day. And that's coming from me who thinks Sonic 3 is the better game.

Yeah, not sure what's up with that. Sonic CD has a very split fanbase. The best Sonic games are 3 and Mania, well, 2 is still pretty awesome. CD? It has two spectacular scores.

sonic cd runs but the game is completely irresponsive, only the touch screen on the back of the vita works Edit: fixed it, the "data.rdsk" in the data folder was faulty, I used the one from my own copy and I can now play the game.

idk if you still need help but you need the steam RSDK data and just replace it with the sonic CD RSDK you download from mega and it should work

sonic doesn't work,you need the proper data files,I got them from a video but the game in itself crashes sometimes when the music gets switched,it's fun in its current state but i'd wait for an update

That’s weird. If you have the qcma driver and content manager installed then you shouldn’t have any problems. You should try looking up on KZbin “qcma fix” might help.

Great video Blaine! I am running into some issues. Sonic 2 and Sonic CD won't boot after I install the VPK files. I made sure to copy the data files and they were unzipped. I am able to get Sonic 1 working okay but the others not so much. Any thoughts?

Try putting the data file on uxo, uro and uma0, I did that and it work

Another great video, thanks! I'm having an issue when playing sonic 1, labyrinth zone act 3: the level is broken and I always lose a life when the waterfall starts. I wonder if anyone else is having this issue?

@@blainelocklair I think I've seen a comment about sudden game crashes, most likely when a new music is loaded. This is unfortunately a separate issue. Anyway, for those who'd like to quickly take a look to see if they run into the same issue as I do, here's how to access the level select on sonic 1: in the main menu choose "no save" and in the title screen hit the following keys: up, down, left, right, up, down, left, right. You should hear a ring sound if this works and then just press any button. Have fun! :)
