To clarify, you do NOT need to use a cow specifically, I just found their hitbox convenient for trapping them with their legs exposed to reuse the device. Also, you can technically use this in the nether if the cow is instead in the overworld, if you want to do nether exploration.

Can't you use boats now that you can use leash boats. It would much easier to place a boat and can be built anywhere as long you have wood (and other material for the machine)

Yeah, this is pretty useful :) I already have an ender pearl stasis chamber that triggers on relog to bring me to an end portal, which allows me to quickly reach 1: the area at my end portal entrance, 2: the end, 3: my bed location (by exiting the exit end portal), 4: spawn (by exiting the exit end portal while riding a boat). Almost all my activity in the nether is around a soul sand valley about 1500 blocks away. Using your contraption I can use nether portals to fast travel to that soul sand valley, which is basically in the middle of everything I do in the nether. I could test it myself, but I'll also ask here in case anyone else is reading. Is it relog-safe? server restart safe? Does dying cause the lead to drop? Personally the only thing it needs to be for me is relog safe, since as stated above I use relog to fast travel. I accidentally discovered this feature myself as I was bringing mooshrooms into the end portal, where I had put my bed. The mooshroom got stuck so I had to go back out, and I noticed I still had the lead on the mooshroom. I didn't think of the implications of this at the time though xD Thanks for posting, this might indeed be very useful to me!

Could you combine this with a fishing rod stasis chamber for two way teleportation? Or would it not work because you have to go into the nether to activate it?

also since 1.21 allows you to directly send minecarts through portals, cant you use that for a chunkloader instead of breaking the minecart and dispensing it? edit: nevermind

I actually don't know... I think it would drop? Because normally leashed mobs that are killed drop their leads.

I don’t think you’d be able to kill the cow without going into the nether very easily so as soon as someone enters the nether the lead would just break

If you plan to instantly teleport from far away it wouldn't work because Bedrock Edition doesn't have the chunk loaders needed for the lead to update.

How can a redstone device be "not multiplayer compatible" ??? Multiplayer Friendly is a much better term.

@@teamruddy611 my previous attempt at remote redstone wasn’t multiplayer compatible as it would be triggered whenever any player slept, so it was much better for single player.

It's not so much the redstone itself as the triggers. Some redstone triggers don't work on multiplayer, and some, like cat stasis, don't work on single player. It all just depends what you're using as a trigger.
