Like USA, my country (India) is a democracy (the word's largest) & it is important that the laws of the land & the constitution's guidelines be upheld fastidiously. Investigating agencies & the Judiciary *cannot* be tentative in pulling up people who disregard the constitution or the nation's security, just because those people are in positions of political power. The SDNY won't have courts standing in their way either. And as this process unfolds, I think it will become more and more clear what many of us have suspected all along: that Trump is the most corrupt man to ever sit behind the resolute desk. Trump knows it's coming, his kids know it's coming, they all do. I give it two more weeks or so before the pardons start getting handed out en masse.

Mueller found everything he needed to press charges on the President, but he's relying too much on making shameless people feeling guilt and coming clean. He's trying too hard to hold the moral high ground he forgets that he's against the moral abyss, too reliant on playing it by the book that he overlooks the fact that they cannot read the book. At this stage, being saintly isn't going to cut it any more, we need an opposition who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, because the clean politics ship has long since sailed and the only way we're going to return to civility is to do it ourselves once the indignant are out of the house. We have to be the bouncer that throws the unruly kid out of the club, not afraid to use force, before we can straighten our ties and enjoy the party again. I thank Mueller for at least trying to bring it all forward, revealing every wrong doing, but nature isn't going to take care of it from this point and the mob only understands one language and that is force. You need to push this hard, and not be afraid to bear your teeth and unsheathe your claws, because you cannot appeal for the best in man in the worst of humanity.

If only. Most of that was just angry speculation. Mueller left it to the House to impeach and gave them the amunition to do it. Not enough Senators were on board to convict Nixon either until after congress held an impeachment inquiry which led to impeachment in the House and then Nixon knew Senate would convict so He resigned. Just like Trump will because after the House exposes his crimes before the public senators will no longer support him. An impeachment inquiry gives congress massive investigative powers so trump cannot hide info, tax returns or records. Notice how quiet repubs have been.
