Actually, Christianity was not started in the Middle East. Jesus’s Uncle, Joseph of Arimathea began the first church dedicated to his nephew in Glastonbury after the crucifixion, where as a tin and copper merchant he travelled frequently and took Jesus with him as a teenager. It did not have a cross in it because Jesus does not represent atonement for sins. He taught compassion, love, kindness, acceptance of everybody, and how powerful a human being is capable of by healing the sick and feeding the hungry. The Churches practices are quite the opposite as we are being shown graphically In the abuse of children by men whom celibacy is forced on them in the mistaken belief that Jesus was celibate. Many people have for 2000 years been controlled by lies and misconceptions so a bunch of men in fancy dress could play God. It’s time for change.

This is my message to both the Christian as well as the non-Christian; the religious and the nonreligious; the liberals and the conservatives; the Republicans and the Democrats; etc... I am not against the regular everyday Americans who are Republicans or Democrats. I am not at all saying that I am politically neutral but I certainly have never condemned anyone for voting for the 'wrong' candidates. The Clintons have been accused of many things including dozens of murders; treason; Bill has been accused of all sorts of horrible sexual abuse. They're just filled with what feels like torn-up chunks of recycled foam mattress toppers--they feel cheaply made/way overpriced, lumpy, and not innovative at all like he tries to make them seem on the TV ads, giving the impression he's spent his whole life perfecting them. Cyrus the Great actually supported a diverse empire and allowed different religions and peoples to exist and govern themselves very independently and ban slavery in his empire. In other words tolerant of other cultures and didn’t want people working for him for free does that would like Trump. This happened 70 years after the Jews were captured and deported by king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, in fulfillment of the prophecy by Jeremiah (see Jeremiah 29: 10). BTW Jeremiah’s prophecy predated the Babylonian exile, as shown by how the prophet Daniel referenced it (see Daniel 9: 2). Don't take my word for it, look it up for yourself.

For those who need a quick history lesson. Here's a few facts about Cyrus the Great: 1. He was the founder of the Persian Empire. He achieved this by successfully conquering the Babylonian Empire that came before him and laid the foundations for Persian rule over the Middle East and Central Asia for over 200 years. 2. He was a supporter of multiculturalism. This was especially the case for religion. As long as people paid taxes and didn't revolt, he didn't give a shit what god or gods you prayed to. 3. He is famous among Christians because he returned the Jews to their homeland following their captivity in Babylon, but he did this as a means to create a buffer state between Persia and his enemies in Egypt.

@Harak Mapping -1st: Why would religious beliefs play a role in the governance of a country that was based off the separation of church and state? It shouldn't, but clearly has (IE: stats of evangelicals supporting Trump), so don't get upset when the connection is detested by those who care more about the constitution... Second, the idea that there could be some lash back against the christian community in any meaningful way is ludicrous. How about try to help the religious communities currently being targeted like Muslims and Jews? Lastly, it's simple, if you support a government based off religious ideals in America you're doing it wrong. If you don't, then great and you as an individual have a clear conscience and these criticism's aren't directed at you, but don't expect people to not point out the clear connection and don't take it personally that it's there. It's actually helpful for folks like you (and me) to stand-up to this in our communities to snap people out of the blind following routine. You're allowed to believe what you want on the left in the end regardless, so don't think anything 'bad' will come of this...
