The passenger side took me 3.5 hours and in the middle I found this video.. I didnt have to remove the lumbar thing from the cable as it fit thru the seat cover but this video will cut down the time it will take for the drivers seat. Thanks for posting bro!

I love video s that get to the point and tell me what I need to know. If I may ad one thing, the knob at the end of the black hydraulic cord,when separating the top from the bottom, when it wont come out,turn it,remember, it is a hydraulic cord! Awesome video, thanks for adding my 2cents!

I just snagged a pair of these in really good condition minus some wear on the bottoms out of a junkyard for my f150. I'm really glad to see the leather is readily available but nobody seems to carry the replacement cushion for these seats. Do you know if I can swap the base from a passenger side? I know the upholstery is a little different but it looks like the bottoms themselves are the same.

Nathan, thank you so much. Good news for 1999 Taurus owners, the tan seats NEVER need to be replaced. Ebay does not have one tan driver's seat replacement in leather available. Only gray is available, so tan must not ever need replacing. Except on my car. It's off to the upholstering shop for me. Let's hope they still grow tan cows and not just gray ones. :-)
