I have a similar set up with a raised eotech and an offset RMR. It seems people in the comments don't realize you can't cowitness or use your irons as back up sights with the optic on a riser. It's much more faster and efficient to just cant over to use the offset RMR vs. Trying to take your eotech off with the QD lever so you can use irons.

It's just a backup. My eotech is on a riser and obviously I can't see my sights through my window as a backup way to aim, hence the rmr.

@@CBRN-Fan-Boy obviously that's the point of a qd, but it's faster to cant the weapon and I do use an lpvo sometimes so I left it on.

I think a pressure pad for a white light on a fighting rifle is probably a bad idea, however for a home defense weapon it's definitely necessary! Just my opinion! Nice setup👍🇺🇸

Yeah I have broken a pressure pad before. The surefire one is pretty nice though. The wires are well protected and if you retain them it should be fine, but always a good idea to have a back up tail switch.

I wanna argue w the offset dot but I can’t. You have it set up at the same height as your main so you can easily rotate. Definitively not how I would do it but if you got it on there correctly and it works for you then who cares.

It's a kevlar rail-rap made by Burn Proof Gear. Sorry it took me so long to respond. It's great, it helps retain wires and protects from heat.

Nice. Not sure about the RMR backup on an EOTech…. Maybe because the battery life sux 🤔? Sometimes 2 is better than 1 😅!

The eotech is on a half inch riser making it too high to actually see my sights through the window. RMR is there if the eotech goes down.

What kind of buffer set up?

I just have the pws h3 buffer inside. I believe now they actually include an h2 with the mk111. The nice thing about these is you can really fine tune your weapon with the gas settings and buffer weight based on what ammo you're using.

Yeah it's just the factory mod 2m rail. They are proprietary though so this one will only fit on the pws.

The eotech is on a mount. Can't see me irons through the window. RMR is my backup.

The chances of your EOtech going done are slime to none. Anything that catastrophic would destroy that open emitter RMR way before an EOtech. You have a QD mount just run irons and if by the grace of god the EOtech stops working just rip it off and throw it in a dump pouch.

I've down a lot of shootin with an offset RMR and do like to cant the rifle sometimes when shooting. Not really worried about the Eotech, they're very durable optics.
