Have been running mine with a sandman-s on setting three with 77 grain. Runs like an absolute dream, great recoil impulse, super controllable, and accurate despite what DI guys say.

Has the roller cam pin scratched the interior of the receiver like some users have said?

We never found any gouging during filming. It would make sense due to the bolt also having that spring, and it could be from the piston settings. But we haven’t experienced that.

I just ordered the same thing last week this was the only real negative I heard, so I did order a Pof roller cam pin to replace the factory cam. Great video feeling good about this purchase!

I've read on their webiste that they dont't recommend to use those aftermarket roller pins? Now i'm confused, cus it seems like beside trigger group this is the most important upgrade based on users review in the Internet?@@mds-1022

great info. just ordered my mk114 mod-1 upper with no muzzle device. it will have a dedicated flash hider and can on it.

I did the same thing, got the mod1 because I personally love a forward assist. Why pay more for less features

I think every person that has picked up one is genuinely shocked at how the weight is, and then how it feels to shoot it. Sticker shock always gets everyone 🤣

Favorite setup at this time is the Aimpoint Comp m5. We always go back to it as the clarity is unmatched by others we use. There may be a slight astigmatism but this dot even beat out our T2's when they were dropped. We did enjoy the PA SL3x, L&S PB3, Steiner MPS all as well. The holosun didn't perform well enough for us.

They were. They switched at some point. There's a reddit thread on when they switched.

You should run it with a can, they run very quiet.

Mine isn't as quiet as my internal piston ARs. It has pop out of the gas tube when it dumps gas everywhere. I've put Sandman S, Flow 556k, Flow 762 Ti, and Nomad.
