I also really like the hack on the skirt you did and I did that very same hack quite a few years ago on a white skirt and a denim skirt. Yours looks beautiful. Where there is topstitching, how would that work using a traditional sewing machine? I wouldn’t want to do zig zag stitches. , and a knit cannot have traditional stitching.

Thank you! The topstitching is done with a regular straight stitch as those areas don't need to stretch. Most of the topstitching is vertical actually except for the front band.

Luckily that is included in the pattern. There are lengthen shorten lines included on the skirt pieces.
