New staggering losses and increasing mayhem are rocking the Russian Army

Chuck Pfarrer, a former squadron leader of SEAL Team 6, explains why Russia, despite having substantially more troops than Ukraine, is failing to make significant territorial gains. Pfarrer points out the multitude of striking indications that Russia has neither the strategic nor tactical ability to execute complex missions. The failure of Moscow to pull off battlefield victories will only worsen when Russia sends newly drafted "people," who could not be considered "soldiers," says Pfarrer, as they so desperately lack sufficient training, to the front.
Pfarrer, a special correspondent for the Kyiv Post, who has advised the "full alphabet soup" of US national security agencies and is a leading figure in the analysis of the war in Ukraine, lays out the case as to why Russia's losses so far have been disastrous and explains the many signs pointing towards an abysmal summer ahead for Russia. Russians soon to be mobilized should not delude themselves with fantasies of victory: Like nearly all of the Russian soldiers who participated in the initial full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the newbie Russian troops will be headed straight to the meat-grinder.

So the average soldier will be severely hampered in movement and detecting mines, etc. Can such troops function? ruZZia isn't in as good a shape as they pretend. If you've ever traveled to remote ruZZian towns, I bet they haven't noticed any change since they always live in poverty. The problem with Russian casualties is the Ukrainians are roasting so many personnel carriers/trucks and tanks their bodies are just ashes and charcoal. There may have been 10 soldiers or 1 soldier in one of the vehicles but because there's nothing left of the bodies you wouldn't know.

Russia has even started closing down prisons because they're running out of prisoners, let that sink in. In the past their prisons were always used way beyond capacity, and now the former inmates are either fertilizer in Ukraine, or have been pardoned, and murderers and rapists are running around freely in Russia.

Slight correction. Russia has over 400,000 casualties (deaths plus serious injuries) not 400,000 dead. Injuries typically amount to about 3x the number of dead. It is still a staggering number.

Remember this; Aid is only a Band-Aid solution, what Ukraine really needs is to start production on everything they need. Including air defense and missiles etc.. I really wish the focus would shift from "give us ___" to "help us produce ___" Because I stare at these pdf's of "Aid to Ukraine" and look at how much was sent and think, I guess its mostly gone. If this is even close to the truth then guess what.. Aid isn't sustainable either, just like Russian losses. Aid should only be "Aid until we can get on our feet and produce what we need" idk maybe because I studied past conflicts I have a different outlook but imo there is no way for Ukraine to achieve their goals on "Aid" alone. They will always be waiting on this or waiting on that country or...

I agree. There ARE medium-long term plans now in place for Europe to fund the set up ammunition factories in Ukraine. We'll just have to hope it's sooner rather than later!
