Overall I quite like the look of this guy. Hasbro could've made a great army builder out of him with swappable silver/gold face plates and an alt head of the alien face.

You know what's crazy? I'm the same way for mainline. I always end up finding it at either A. my favorite mom & pop toy store or B. GameStop. Mainline is really easy to get where I'm at. -Justin

Hasbro seems to forget that action figures should be able to hold an action pose. If they could pose like Jada's Street Fighter figs, and had the paint shading they do, then wow they'd be awesome. I do like the look of this figure though. Always good to get some more aliens.

The way I described him in my review I said he was a mediocre figure. Not like that’s a bad thing he’s just medium he’s not great he’s not bad. He’s mid lol mid articulation, mid weapon storage, and he’s mid with accessories as well as mid level paint and design. Not like the design is hasbros fault.

Top review as usual Natey! I haven't been able to physically move properly for 2 months, let alone work, so cash is somewhat sparse at the moment. I've been having to strategically trigger pull "plastique" for a while, so I'm "pyke-less" unfortunately but will get 2 at some point. Got Jarvis Ring-piece Mando and Sand-boy Chief. Bangers, both of them! I do love a bit of sand-action. 😊

You've got to cancel your schedule, cancel life as you know it and get that Palace sorted!! It will change your life! That's actually a hyperbolic lie, but it will look good!! New Mando is a cracker! I'm now "HARD-GUNNING" for every "expression" of our titular "Armoured Bad-Bhoy". I'm up to around 9 DhynnJarrynnz (including an absolute God-Awful knock-off of the original build up pac Mando I was stiffed with on ebay recently! 😀 It was so bad, I kept it!) I need Beige CC, Holo, the 3-pac from Spamazon and a legit original build-up and I'll be well into double figures for him!! Absolutely loving it!!

I’m not sure what to do with this one. In the BOBF we saw a ton of these guys, an argument to kinda buy 2 or 3 for the shelf for a scene with Boba and the Tuskens. But on the other hand it’s so generic having the same Pyke without zero variation is silly. It’s NOT a Clone where identical looks is OK. I only bought one. I like your suggestion of waiting until these go on deep clearance on Pulse and/or I find them in Ollies. If I can pick up a couple more under $15 I might bite. Thanks!

Collectors: Can we get alternate faces/ removable plates and weapons holsters? GI Joe Classified: We already did all that and painted extra details. Marvel Legends: here's an alternate head and hands at least. Power Rangers Lightning: got a helmet and face sculpt along with their weapons. Mattel: That's standard here. Star Wars Black Series: That ain't gonna work for me, brother. Gotta pay deluxe prices for that.

Yep you're right the figures were totally better back then! Lol. There were what? Two figures that had alt heads back in the orange line? And those figures are terrible. They ditched that real quick because there were no alt heads in the blue line and none in the red line until the deluxe Emperor. Obviously I do want alt heads, alt hands, more accessories, etc. I'll take em' all day. But there's no explaining this if you actually think the figures were better off back then. EDIT: The more I think about it, where in the world do people get the idea that Black Series used to be chock full of alt heads/hands? There's less than five figures in the entire line that have alt heads, spanning 11 years. -Justin

My thing is they kind of just do bare minimum compared to other lines I've been exploring. Probably why sales are down at the Bro. Maybe Tom Walgreen can pressure them to step it up?

I’m definitely getting two and I wish we had like a boss with variant costume or an unmasked face. I like to have two or three rank and file figures and then one officer/ sergeant/ leader. Wouldn’t mind figures from the other crime syndicates. Maybe with this new game will get some, but they tend to be kind of stingy with the game figures.

Indeed another great black series figure review from you sir. 👍 Definitely not a banger figure but an ok army builder for sure. I've got two of these on preorder at BBTS, but I might cancel one to pick up on sale later. I didn't realize the figure was that short 🤔. Unfortunately that plastic skirt inhibits potential poseibility, soft goods might have worked out better, not sure though 🤔. And Hasbro go back to black plastic weapons with dry silver brush application. Thanks again Nate for the review of this figure, I'm gonna wait for a sale to get my second Pike Soldier as well. Blasted plastic over soft goods really hinders this guy. The detail in the face plate looks solid, though. If hasbro would have gone soft goods with a removable face plate but charged deluxe would you buy? I think i would have got 2, at least in that scenario. Most Bodacious review Nate

I've warmed up to the live-action Pyke due to this figure. Lack of alt looks is a minus but I think that restrictive skirtpiece not allowing much movement is the bigger offender. Your thumbnail caption sums up my feelings on it overall.

That pistol seems to look like an m4 without the stock and long barrel. I get the 80s they just used real guns but we're in 2024. Could have at least made the back completely flat. It's what ever I guess.

Yeah this particular blaster is weird because it originally came with Cassian and it had attachments to make it a full rifle. But classic Hasbro left those out for this release so it just kinda looks weird now. Thanks for watching! -Nate

Book of boba really was terrible. 6 inch fatigue is setting in, at least for me. Love this channel, but I’ve lost interest in these horrible sw side shows. Sequels, bobf, mando 3, Kenobi, Ashoka… all trash. Oh, and bad batch. I tried, but can’t escape the feeling I’m deliberately trying to like turds.
