I own a few mowing businesses as well and like how you use a string trimmer or "weedeater" properly. The heads spin and pull grass away. Most make the mistake of walking forward and making a mess Walk backwards and the line pulls the mess away from structures and fences. This guy knows what he is doing and its obvious. Hard to train a new weedeater guy and show them not only how to clean and pull the grass away but clear before a mower runs over it . My guys can weedeat and be done well before a mower runs because they know what a mower can hit and clean out accordingly. Good job man. Like your channel

I mow my 2.5 acre yard myself. It has buildings, trees, landscaped areas, the State Highway ditch line, 2 driveways, sidewalks, etc., to trim around. My John Deere does the mowing but I have always done all this trimming with a push mower. I have been watching your videos now for a few months and I am almost convinced I need a string trimmer. Are they hard to use ? I have seen wooden fence posts almost whipped away by string trimmers at nearby farm. I wouldn't tolerate that nor do I want to rip the bark off trees. Sooo, would appreciate tips!
@CopperCreekCuts5 жыл бұрын
String trimmers have a learning curve, but aren't hard to use. You will have to develop a 'feel' for where the end of the string is, which can be a delicate task. You will also find that most wood can take some abuse. You won't cut it in half the first time you touch it. You may also look into products like Fence Armor if you are overly concerned about it. Thanks for watching, great questions!

It's like you say "NO weeds you shall not pass" you cut them down like they are nothing. This is also ky favorite speed the video is done in.

I'm out on edging that concrete like that! I would've just mowed it!

Yeah, edging takes a long time but makes a huge difference versus mowing alone. Thanks for watching!

Great video . Edging gives it that beautiful touch. I work for a landscaping company and we cut cemetery’s and I feel like cutting houses is easier but more stressful because it has to be perfect and done . It dosent Mater at cemetery
