I got the front steering wheel and rear console display unit in my MYL23. Can the commander still be connected to the rear or passenger-side ports, or do I have to disconnect and choose one or the other?

Hi The enhanced site said to chose the side obd connector if you have other accessory connected to the back mod console. I noticed you have a screen in the back but you still installed in the mid console? I prefer to do that if I can as well as I also have a back screen

Can the faceplate be removed? As I'd want to wrap it to match my center console. While I could vinyl over the whole thing (including the 4 buttons), would be a better/cleaner install if the faceplate could be taken off.

I tried to do a few shortcuts on left steering wheel scroll wheel too but I still have to look at screen sometime when I tried to use it. What I like about this knob is that whatever you program to be middle shortcut you don’t even have to look at the know at all. I have a Model Y, but previously I had a Q50 RS that was stolen from my driveway. Really would love to buy this but my hope is for future models to have a design that prevents stealing this from your car harder. Especially if thieves know the price these units cost.

Hood review of a great product. But a quick question if you dont mind: is it possible to program a button with the same function on all 3 'pages'? For example wipers on the top left button so regardless of which menu set im in I only have to push that button for my wipers...

If you want to just use it for volume control, on the app set "Auto return to Home" as "Never" for the volume function. The Knob resumes from whatever page you last left it on, so it'll always start from the volume screen and stay on it until you decide to switch.

I know this is an odd question, and you probably wont respond to it. How do you make the compartment light turn off while the S3XY knob is installed. Because the compartment light stays on if the sliding part doesn't close all the way.

I think one of the most under rated and under utilized features in a tesla is the voice control. Most of those functions can be done with voice control, and you never have to take your eyes off the road. There are over 100 voice commands in a Tesla. When i say my ass is cold it turns on the my heated seat.

I think it’s the sound from the vibrations of the knob. The reason you can it louder in my video because I was in quieter environment than most of the video out there. The reason we are still in pre order is that we are a small company that we build everything by hand. We can produce up to 100 units a day but the demand has been bigger since day 1. And don’t forget that we also make the S3XY Buttons and the Commanders. I'm not an owner but I've used one for a while. But I understand that this gadget is unnecessary in a Tesla with it's over 100 voice commands. It's just an accessory for those who don't use vc or those who want controls, screens, and gadgets closer to the hands and even spread out for added convenience like drivers and rear passengers screens. The model 3 and y have minimal interior do dad's because it's not absolutely necessary to properly control the cars features. The easiest way to control everything is using the steering wheel scroll button for voice commands.
