The comparison with Amazon and Apple is stupid though. When Apple came out with the iPhone the valuation changed. When Amazon came out with AWS the valuation changed. You dont value a company based on 'what ifs' or what could be coming. Apple wasn't valued on the iPhone when it just made Macs because the iPhone wasn't adding profit. This method of explaining Teslas value is hopium.

I'm a huge Tesla Bull, but coming from the UK still not sure what Tesla Solar is? I think it is Tesla entering the energy markets selling "Tesla Electric" at discount rates if you have a Tesla Powerwall. I'm not sure in the US whether the solar panels with Tesla solar are bought from Tesla. These panels are coming down in price every couple of months. I'm not sure tesla has any competitive advantage with the sale of the actual panels, but powerwalls, absolutely.

@@SmartestDumbGuy the model 3 has been around since 2018 right? thats barely 6 years ago, there's no track record of a 30 year old 200,000 miles model 3 (or any tesla) running on the road right now to prove longevity like a 1990 Toyota or Honda, therefore the anxiety because there's still alot to prove with longevity for tesla cars

"Tesla is 3-5 steps ahead of everything", what absolute BS. Not in AI and not in robotics and certainly not in solar cells and not in FSD and not in supposed robo-taxis. The level of bro-crush in this video is utterly ridiculous. Tesla is an EV company which had a very significant amount of first mover advantage which is now slowly getting crushed by the opposition, slashing margins in an attempt to maintain market share. In China Q4 2023 market share was below Q4 2022, same in US, and only just beat in Europe while massively slashing prices (more price cuts in China now!). The 2023 bounce will be shown to be the dead cat that it is as the reality drags the share price down through 2024. In Q1 2024 its going to go from #2 to probably #5 in EVs in China (6% EV market share or less). Its market share in the US and Europe has been dropping all year after the price cut bump.
