So I have a scary story. When I was about 12 we got back from vacation from visiting family up north and my mom specifically told my dad not to bring home any of my grandmother’s spirit books/stories. Well that night my dad was working overnight and my mom, my little nine year old sister, and myself were sleeping in my mom’s bed. I woke up to the sound of my sister saying “gross, gross”, and leaning up on her elbow looking at the window but she was in a state. So I followed her gaze and I saw this golden spirit walk away with the outline of a human and go towards my mom’s mirror dresser. About that time my mom wakes up and she thought out of the corner of her eye and she yells everybody get up. Well we just woke up and out of bed I just walked straight to where I saw it and lifted up some things on my mom‘s dresser and there was a book that my dad had snuck home. My mom took that book and literally tore it in half and she took it to the kitchen and set it on fire and burned it. Never saw that thing again. my sister said what she saw in her vision was a man naked in chains moaning. It was so weird. That was the first and not the last time I’ve ever seen a spirit. I wasn’t scared at all because I’ve experienced weird stuff my whole life lol.
