Tip for new players: that name of your teammates appears on pretty small range, so try to identify friendlies - enemies based on uniforms before you shoot at people :)

I tried out the legacy settings as the Xbox players were comparing it so much but I found the updated settings to be more user friendly/faster to use on the go compared to legacy 🤷🏻‍♂️.

yes, you can: play as gamemaster, spawn units and vehicles from opposing teams, they will fight each other, you can drop in bvp, select any unit and take control of it play that combat ops mode which is pve and you can play it solo or invite friends or go to public server and go help them pve play premade mission all that single player or multi, arma does not care :)

Any tips for a insurgency sandstorm player planning on coming to ARMA on ps5? I don't run n gun, I try to use real world CQB and room clearing tactics on insurgency. Focus on your key binds make what works for you work for you. Don’t let the stock key binds control you you’ll find overtime what feels comfortable. Other than that man just have fun play with the loadout editor and don’t kill friendly.

You have proximity chat which you can either hold l1 to talk, tap it to turn it on or have it off. Then you also have a squad channel and an everyone channel but it only works for people in mic range with you not the whole map.

I played LOTS of Operation Flashpoint/Arma: Cold War Crisis and every single Arma game. Reforger has the best PVP and PVP mode of all of them, and it's not even close! The 80's setting makes it more balanced, without everyone having fancy scopes, nightvision, thermals, homing rockets, etc...that are very hard to balance Rifles basically have a single type of silencer, scope, red dot, and grenade launcher and that's it. It's easier to learn

Anyone ever play operation flashpoint Cold War crisis? This is the closest thing to it I've found. Use to play that with my friends at his house with a "cti" mod which made it a mode that lasted hours where 2 teams battled over a large island, setting up bases, capturing villages from resistances soilders.

It’s a whole lot of fun if solo against AI is something you like. They do it really well here, the AI is of course hard to go up against but not impossible like some games.

@@tonyfergferg7787 in fact , I think , a Bug. Cable used Keyboard without any Function Key ( meaning of Hit a Key and get other functions on the Key) Cable used Mouse. Mouse Work totally fine , even when i bind the Forward and Backyard Button on the Mouse Trigger left and Right. So. Every Key from the Keyboard are possible to bind. M ,opens the map Tab the inventory so far,so fine Space jump But movement doesnt Response Anyway on witch Key u bind it. So , i think this is a clear Config prob . Or do U have other experiances ? If when , then,witch Keyboard do u Guys use ?

On console at the moment, the Russians have an advantage with the BTR it’s not really fair. They have an armoured personnel vehicle that can traverse its 360 and it’s basically an anti-aircraft gun while the US have a home V with a 50 con top but it can traverse 360 it’s a little unbalanced

The .50 Cal can travel 360 degrees on the Humvee. As a PC player I can use the A and D keys rotate left and right, while the mouse pivots the gun. Besides, the gun can pierce sections of the BTR's armor, making it possible to easily take out the gunner. Maybe they'll give the US team an LAV-25 when that gets added to the game, but I doubt it. I think the two Humvees are balanced.
